Romney's short list: Pawlenty campaigns hard for ticket

Yellow Spring, Ohio (CNN) - Tim Pawlenty remembers the late nights in 2008, working with his wife, Mary, to pull together all the documents John McCain's campaign requested as it vetted potential running mates.

"No staff. Only us," Pawlenty wrote in his book, "Courage to Stand." "I remember the two of us joking one night at some inhumane hour, 'No way Mitt Romney is doing this by himself.' "

There are bridges little Timmy hasn't destroyed yet, and he is feeling sad.

I have no idea why he would even want to be on the ticket. He is not in line with Robmeys ideas (although for his plans we are still waiting).
He would be better suited in a cabinet position.

I'm from Minneapolis and Pawlenty was the worst Gov. The state had a large surplus when he took over and left us with a huge deficit. Keeping up with the rest of the lousy repub. govs!
Show us your taxes and prove Reid wrong!

Not to diminish the accomplishments of Tim Pawlenty, but ...

He's a typical GOPer. Always complaining just how big government has become while seeking to continue his own government employment benefits without ever getting beyond receiving his own government issued limousine's, government issued personal staff, government supplied mansions, and all the other "little" perks he decries others from receiving.

It'll be crystal clear what Pawlenty's true convictions are should he become V.P. pick. Do look for a whole lot of red, white, and blue nonsense. Might just as well paint stripes over his body, so steeped in nonsensical rhetoric as he is want to do.

Obama will do anything to hold onto power ... even if its harmful to America. It's time for Americans to choose between Obama and America. It should be an easy choice, since American is MUCH more important than Obama.

Republicans will do anything to hold onto power. They nearly destroyed our country twice, and embody what big oil, big banks, big insurance, Wall Street, big defense contractors are all about: bringing America to its knees.

The truth is that NEITHER 1 of these `Governors" wants to run on their records. Pawlenty`s fiscal mismanagement left budget busting deficits in Minnesota and his financial shell games put the burden on future administrations. This isn`t what we want at the Federal level.

Mr. Romney was THIRD FROM THE BOTTOM IN job creation as Governor; not what America wants or needs. He did pass universal healthcare . . . WITH an INDIVIDUAL MANDATE . . . but he doesn`t want to acknowledge that least his Tea-Party faction stop holding their nose and dessert him at the voting booth.

Me, I want to delve into his tax rates BEFORE he started sprucing things up to run for PUBLIC OFFICE. Character is what you demonstrate when you don`t think anyone is watching. Let`s look at Willard`s character starting in the year 2000.

the robot would do anything to be in power. he thinks he can buy the election. no way jose it does not work like that. the poor that you stump on all your life has the power, not you and the kochs.and the rest of the greedy people around you.

The rethugliban will do anything to regain power ... even if its harmful to America. It's time for Americans to choose between the rethugliban and America. It should be an easy choice, since American is MUCH more important than the rethugliban.

  14. Governor 47th In Job Creation (Excluding Off-shored to China and India)

Palin had her pork barrel brideg to nowhere to her name.
Pawlenty has crumbling bridges, an early surrender of his campaign to get bought out by Willard, and Obamneycare to his name. Go for it Willard.

Timmy would also be subject to the American people's demand of 12 years worth of tax returns.

I have a few friends that own and manage some men's clothing stores. I can see if any of their vendors can get you some stylish tinfoil ones.

There are no longer 'Walmart greeters.' I think they must have outsourced those jobs when they stopped selling American goods.

Why would Pawlenty want to be mixed up with Mitt Romney, the biggest corporate raider of modern times. He puts Murdock to shame.

I hope Mitt DOES pick T-Paw.....this guy is really the attack dog Romney needs to go after Obama. ROTFLMAO!! Heck T-Paw was scared to call out Mitt during the primary debates so he went after Bachmann and she handed him his lunch! I can see Joe Biden just licking his chops to debate this moron.

Romney better start trying to get out of explaining the South American " Death Squad " people who are funding his campagin and Bain Capitol. The Washington Post has some interesting stuff to read. Looks like Mitt may have more problems than he can explain. Everything is comming out now and you can't just say NO i'm not showing you the GOODS. The Death Squads is worse than the Tax issue. Good Luck Republican Party your man is finally history.
