Obama heads home to raise campaign cash

(CNN) – President Obama will head home to Chicago over the weekend for a series of five high-dollar fundraisers for the Obama Victory Fund, according to a campaign official.

On Sunday, Obama will head back to his old stomping grounds in Hyde Park, holding a fundraiser in his own home. Tickets for this event will cost $40,000 per attendee.

Obama will also attend what the campaign calls a small round table, which also has a ticket price of $40,000 per person. Then, he will attend a Gen44 reception at the Bridgeport Arts Center.

After the fundraiser at Obama's Chicago home, the president will attend another event in Hyde Park at a private residence where tickets start at $5,000 per person.

Finally, Obama will speak at another private residence in the evening. Tickets for this event will cost $1,000 per person.

The Obama Victory Fund is a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.

Obama was last in his hometown for a fundraiser and rally in June. The president and his family were also in Chicago during the Father's Day weekend for the wedding of the daughter of senior adviser Valerie Jarrett. In May, Obama was in Chicago to host the NATO summit.

You're doing a great job President Obama and the majority of the nation is with you. We know you are a true leader who puts the American People first. You are honest, trustworthy, with character, integrity, honor, dignity despite constant slanderous attacks, and a true Christian who looks out for ALL of us regardless of wealth or station in life. You have accompllished a lot despite a totally obstructionist Republican Congress. You have the respect of the world. Can't wait to re-elect you in November and deliver a Democratic Majority Congress and Senate so we can get some actual work done with the do-nothing Republicans gone. We will win despite cheating with voter suppression laws and floods of corporate cash to buy Republican candidates. Our democracy will prevail despite Republican betrayal of us.

I think the republican party are just stupid. They talk about this man name joe, he loss his job paying $45,000.00 and found a job for 15,000.00. This changes how people priorities, Most american do not have health ins. They free load off the rest of us. Nobody knows what his wife health ins cover. Since people being talking about this man name joe, I am shock what most people health ins cover. I used to look at people finances, they would spend more money eating out than purchase health ins. Son of Boss, what Mr. Romney a partner, he was on the Board, and he help with the audit.
Fact check please tell me if mr. Romney was a partner, because this does make a different.

I don't care what Romney has done in the past. I just care about what he will do from now forward. We already know what Obama can do for us and it sucks. But he expects us to vote for him again. I don't think so. I'm sure if Obama loses he will blame George Bush.
