(CNN) - Newly chosen vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is already well-known for trying to push the U.S. government to cut its way to prosperity.
Perhaps he should share some of his stock picks with Uncle Sam in order to boost revenue as well.

What, Insider Trading? That worked so well in 2006 and ruined many many Americans 401K's
Yuck...I have that same tie. I'm sooo burning it tonight lol
Besides, what's so "expert" about trading on inside information obtained whle in Congress? A monkey could appear to be an "expert stock picker" with the inside info these guys trade on.
I don't care which stocks he picks - he has the inside information same as the rest.
I do care that the Insurance Companies and the Oil Companies (you know, the ones we subsidize), are heavy contributors to his campaigns. Always have been. DUH!!
The guy is one VERY SMART guy!! He has an economics degree so should know a tad about the market and the economy. Not all winners but a good selection of solid stocks to own. Gee, it didn't take long for the Democrats to try and start smearing him by painting him as a rich insider trader. Unbelieveable...
Meanwhile Obama and Holder get American and Mexican citizens KILLED and they get a pass in the LSM.
Hmmmmm. Any inside tradding going on? He made all this wealth prior to the STOCK Act being passed.
When someone preys on our most volunerable citizens they call him a predator but in politics they call it "The Paul Ryan Budget".
well insider trading has been legal for congressment
Ryan's stocks are more than likely picked by inside information. After all it was the house republicans that really didn't want to pass the presidents's bill against congressional insider trading. Even with that, he is a lot cleaner than Romney who is hiding ten years of his tax information due to pieces he desperately needs to keep from the voters.
"I do care that the Insurance Companies and the Oil Companies (you know, the ones we subsidize), are heavy contributors to his campaigns."
Hs family has a lot of investments in oil. That's why he defends the $40B in subsidies to oil companies while they report record profits during a massive recession.
More like "expert" radical.
The GOP-Ryan budget facts....One fact applies only that the Ryan-budget is the only one out there that the DEMS love to
tear to pieces...yet after almost four years in the White House and still waiting to see the first DEMS-Obama budget....
.......and so Dems if you cannot "Put-out...then at least shut-up".........The Country wants solutions...bold solutions.....
The only stock that keep a great nation moving forward is what all ancient civilization did build infrastrucuture thereby help it people show whate they accomplish.
Romney/Ryan would eliminate their own taxes for this income while charging the middle class and seniors more.
How will they pay for those new tax cuts? By cutting infrastructure, education, food stamps (even for our military), cut military benefits, start more wars -- yes, start more wars. It's money in the bank for a lot of wealthy people invested in the military complex (companies that create/build war machinery and provide contractors).
You wanna see high gas prices? Wait til they have us in wars with 3 more countries.
Ryan is no friend to women..... please note has a "widow's peak"....
Show us YOUR taxes Ryan. Before Romney's accountants modify them.
It's amazing to me how Ryan and Romney constantly run down Obama's economy, yet both have profited tremendously during this time, And they want more breaks for the rich.
And here comes the left, slinging stuff at the wall, trying, in desperation, to make something stick.
Claudia.... According to the amendment to the constitution the CONGRESS is supposed to produce a budget, where is it, all you can do is demonize the other side, who does REID'S job, but you have no plan, except spend, spend, spend, and tax the rich. Been living in Sheila Jackson Lees district long, what did she do for you after you gave her kickbacks.
"The guy is ONE VERY SMART guy! He has an economics degree".
And GW Bush has a Master's in Business Administration. That didn't help us either.
