(CNN) - Mitt Romney will spend Wednesday fund-raising with finance receptions in North Carolina and Alabama. Meanwhile, Rep. Paul Ryan will pick up where Romney left off in Ohio with a campaign rally in Oxford at Ryan's alma mater, Miami University.
President Obama will be joined by first lady Michelle Obama as he wraps up his three-day bus tour through Iowa, making stops in Dubuque and Davenport. Vice President Joe Biden will also wrap up a campaign swing, traveling through southern Virginia to deliver remarks at Virginia Tech before heading back in Washington, D.C.

So far the Ryan Rollout has been less than an overwhelming success. Paul Ryan does not know how to function before audiences who are not gung-ho in his corner. His interview with Brit Hume on Fox was a disaster. I don't know whether to blame Ryan or the Romney campaign for his lack of clear answers to some obvious questions, questions that cannot be left unanswered if Republicans intend to win.
