Only two states and the District of Columbia saw unemployment rates edge lower in July, while four states saw no change in rates, according to the Labor Department's monthly report on state unemployment.

It looks like the GOP hard work of obstructing and saying "No!" is finally kicking in.
------------------------------------–
The only people saying "No" and obstructing right now are D-Senate and Harry Reid. Mind you, he has over two dozen House passed bills on his desk that he won't even bring to a vote...
NO MITT-FLOPPY!!
If mitt-floppy and the troll were in the W.H.the numbers would be a lot higher.

Excellent analysis... what data did you base this off of??? Hate mongerer
What do expect when our pansy leader hasnt gone to work in 3 & half years.. Heres how he will fix this blame it on bush. OBLAMEO just work 1 day while your in office for god sakes man u should be a shamed of yourself. Hope and change ??? Its now smoke and blame . u go fly around like madonna while honest folk continue to struggle.
@the real truth im a whole lot more focused than Oblunder, but than a turd in a punch bowl is also , face it your a sheep following oblunder around, sheep are okay just not as leaders. if oblunder spent 1 day a week working on the economy instead of golfing or paling around with leno, maybe just maybe something could get done
Don't blame the government. Private industry will not hire because they are greedy and are making huge profits. Check the quarterly profits for private industry. They are still cutting jobs and making a profit. Get informed people for goodness sake. The unemployment rate will continue to go up because of the Presidential election. Blame the 1% because they are the ones controlling our economy. They want Romney elected because they will benefit with higher profits, lower taxes and no regulations. This situation started years ago with employment. How many people do you know that can retire with a pension, 401K matching, health insurance and get social security? Those benefits and jobs are gone and they are not coming back. Get ready for 2 groups of people in this country the rich and the poor.

Mr. Boehner- Where are the jobs bills?
-----------------
Talk to Harry Reid – There's over two dozen House-passed bills on his desk that he refuses to bring to a vote... keep trolling, oh little one.
If Boehner has done his job, we would have jobs.
bb, wah wah wah, you sound like a tried and true party of NO lover.
Robmey for instances, your chosen person, has not and will not give up any indication of what he plans to do on ANYTHING!
Economy: no plan. Ryan Budget plan: he was for it after he was against it, so no plan. ACA: plan is to repeal, but no replace plan. The poor and middle class: no plan except Robmey has said he will cut head start, free lunch programs, cuts to education. Women: you have no rights. Immigrants: no plan, Veterans; Deep cuts to their benefits.
Congress on a beautiful 5 week vacation.
What a life!
Obama just released earmark funds to get construction jobs going to help out because congress is doing NOTHING.
Republicans are complaining about that too.
@tell it like than start a business and u can give as much of your profit away that u want.. do somehting instead of being like Oblameo. Quit blaming everyone else. times stink no doubt get up and give them hell!!!!
@Cali, im not a Romney fan, im an indy. But come on anything at this point is better than Oblunder for god sakes look where we are at !!!!!!!
IF somehow America elects Willard they will prove three things to me:
1) Obama was only being used (no intention of giving him a real chance);
2) The White House is for whites only; and
3) Rules only applied (tax returns, birth certificates, etc.), when the Obama's occupied the White House.
That, will be America's legacy.
This can't be true. The uhbama said the private sector was doing fine.
Corporate profits are at an all-time high, Apple has $100B in cash they are going to invest in Chinese manufacturing plants, the gap between the middle class and the rich (and the poor and the rich) has tripled in the last 10 years, the market is near its all-time high – our economic problems and unemployment are a direct result of our huge multi-national corporations taking their profits from the American middle class and investing them overseas where they can make even MORE money. Improving the lot of their employees is the last thing they want to do-they have been cutting health care, pension funds and salaries for over a decade now.
