Florida governor 'closely tracking' Tropical Storm Isaac
(CNN) - Florida Gov. Rick Scott said in a statement Wednesday he was closely tracking Tropical Storm Isaac, currently rotating its way toward the Southeast coast of the United States – and possibly Tampa, where the Republican National Convention is being held next week.
“Although Tropical Storm Isaac is still far from Florida’s shores, we are closely tracking the potential for the storm to impact part or all of the state, including the Tampa Bay region during the Republican National Convention. Florida’s state emergency management team and local emergency teams have been working closely with convention officials and have been planning for this event for more than a year, and the possibility of a hurricane hitting the convention has been part of that planning process.“I am confident in our preparation, and the decision process in place to ensure the safety of both our residents and visitors during the convention.
“As Florida’s governor, I’m urging everyone across the state to monitor the storm track, and use the next several days to prepare for a potential storm. As we know, storms this far from land are still unpredictable and everyone should be vigilant and prepared.”

No he isn't. A government funded social entity called NOAA is tracking the storm. Hahahahahahahahahaha
These are the same folks that were in power during H. Katrina... they didn't plan for that contingency, but amazingly the GOP convention, that'll be safe from the storm.

When you have ignorant Democrats like the mayor of New Orleans and Governor Blanco that refused to heed the federal government warnings to evacuate the coast and New Orleans, what can you do? The feds can't take over the state to same Democrats from their dangerous decisions. Remember those empty school buses in New Orleans sitting under water?
The Democrat Mayor of New Orleans and Governor Blanco should have been charged with manslaughter for all the deaths they contributed to.
The Lord works in mysterious ways. Can't keep doing evil & expect to always come out on top. Doesn't work that way. I hope everyone remains safe during the storm that happens to be headed towards the site of the GOP convention. But as we all know, everything happens for a reason...
Maybe he can ride atop of one of the hurricane hunter planes. Inside a crate of course.

Never Fear. The GOP has built an Ark in the event of flood conditions; but no same-sex couplings are allowed – humans or animals.
Also no minorities, middle class, poor white GOP voters or women who haven’t signed over their uterus in exchange for a GOP voter registration card will be admitted either.
This is the governor who doesn't want high-speed rail, doesn't want Federal dollars to jobs to build high-speed rail, apparantly doesn't want the FL economy to modernize with high-speed rail, and will try to prevent as many Democratic leaning voters from voting as possible. The Gulf Coast will surpass FL over the next twenty years in retirement resettlers and tourism as a result of saying no to modernizing their transportation.

To divert the storm, here's a suggestion. Let the Gov. step outside and scare the hell out of it. The storm will scamper off like a scared animal. Anyone that looks as evil as this dude, could do it.
