Tampa, Florida (CNN) - A man hurrying to catch the light at a corner in muggy downtown Tampa carries a book with a rainbow of color on its cover.
Its title stands out, especially here, where the Republican National Convention has officially accepted a platform that a New York Times editorial called "more aggressive in its opposition to women's reproductive rights and to gay rights than any in memory."

Politics is becoming blurred as to who is where. You can't just stick with a party. We need to look at each of the candidate running for a policial office. We also can't be focused on one issue when voting.
Just like with a middle or working class or free thinking person, a gay person voting Republican makes no sense. How could they believe all the deceptive Repub propaganda when all facts and all the history proves the GOP’s motivation and allegiances are to only the very wealthy 1% minority in America? It’s worse than irrational, it’s insanity.
This is a freakin' riot! This is even funnier than Lady Bunny performing to a packed crowd in church! Praise Jesus!
Why would they sit down and write a party platform that is far from mainstream and then tell us to ignore it because it doesn't anything and is not what the party is really about?
Given the chance, Repubicans will resume their war on unions, women, gays, seniors, the poor, the infirmed, the middle class, and anyone who meets the description of "not one of us."
I truely feel sorry for the fool that beleived the lies and the under cover work that has went on to make this man look good.
Log Cabin Gays for Romney .
Gay Corporations are people too !
