Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN) - The balloon drop that traditionally concludes a presidential convention will not happen following President Obama's acceptance speech.
A Democratic official confirmed to CNN that "there will be a festive conclusion to Thursday night's session, but no balloons."
Earlier Wednesday, President Barack Obama's campaign and the Democratic Party announced that they're moving the concluding day of the Democratic National Convention from the outdoor Bank of America football stadium to the indoor Time Warner Cable arena, where the first two days of the convention are being held.
Campaign and party officials say they are moving indoors for the final night due to the strong possibility of thunderstorms.
WHAT NO BARMITtZVAH ENdING
The balloons were the only thing I liked at the GOP convention, and the senile old man talking to a chair.
Because there's nothing to celebrate! But there's still plenty of hot air. (Yuck, yuck.)
Dems rammed through a platform change on God today when most people opposed it .... just like they did on Obamacare!
Surprised? You shouldn't be!!!!!! Why vote for this again?????
The majority of delegates at the Dem convention boo'ed God today!!!! The majority didn't want God in their platform.
America was built on God. "In God we trust". The Dem party is NOT american.
Good way to start slashing the deficit!
So be it, The democratic party of our parents is no more, they have unmasked themselves and truely become a new party. Baloons and fake celabrations do not apply in their world.
no need for the Balloons,, theres enough HOT AIR goin on there anyway 😉 Romney 2012!
Balloons?? Really You're blogging about balloons?!!? There has got o be something of actual substance you could post on here besides the lack of balloons.
