Obama traveled to North Carolina earlier in the day on Wednesday, while his wife attended several DNC-related events in Charlotte earlier in the day.

He is to speak and accept his party's nomination Thursday evening. The DNC on Wednesday morning scrapped plans to have Thursday's convention activities at an outdoor stadium with at least 65,000 people in attendance as thunderstorms and other severe weather was in the Thursday forecast.

Through all of your yapping about it the issue, you have made the matter so much bigger than it should have been! let us hear the people who are talking-tired of your interruption -I am incredibly disappointed in CNN. I have changed the channel.

Oh come on CNN. You think it's a coincidence that the graphics in the background of the picture look similar to the Islamic flag?

I am still waiting for just one Politician to stand on that stage and tell us where is the money coming from to pay for all those promises.
As we all know , Hope and Change doesn't pay for anything.
Bill Clinton , what a disappointment , speech proves those accusations of being less than truthful right.
I hope that people do their homework and check the facts , both conventions offered lots of silly story telling and a lot of lies.

It's funny that with a campaign theme of "forward" dems have to rely on an impeached president that left office over a decade. Forward!.. too 1995..

What is it democrats????? Do you love the middle class? Then what is the difference between us “ the middle class” and the poor who gets it all for free. The more you take from us and give to those who don’t work….those who have taken advantage of the programs you have set up. When will we finally loose? we also will stop working and get food stamps and free housing and free medical………What separates us middle class tax paying people from those who might be drug dependent or the like…….those quite able to work if they had to but it JUST DOESN’T PAY TO WORK

The most famous Democrat once said ....... "Ask not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your county" With that particular party I think the baby was thrown out with the bath water.

It's such a great sight to see Bill Clinton supporting Obama so well despite their differences during the democratic nomination race 4 years ago. This should be a good lesson to all politicians all over the world. Peace and unity brings progress.
