Was free speech on mute during the conventions?

Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN) - Shane Brown squeezed through a gap between sections of a steel security fence 9 feet high, picked his way across a vacant lot infested with fire ants and climbed atop a rickety wooden platform. He stepped up and spoke into the microphone:

"God is a good, good God."

Separation of church and state and people who preach goodness and their love of Jesus and every day do anything but follow his teachinigs and footsteps are hypocrites.

To some extent, it wouldn't surprise me because there are security restrictions that will hold anyone to less than what they totally want to say. Some restriction is good because it could be an insightment to violence or hate.

as a demonstrator for Equality with MLK and others, and again for the peace movement, and a voice against nuclear energy (and bombs),,,,I can tell you without equivocation that speech is NOT free in America. That is, unless you are mouthing the words of a major political party or a too-big-too-fail corporation...
Sorry to burst your American Dream (or fantasy)
