Nicki Minaj on Romney endorsement: Sarcasm, get it?
(CNN) – Singer, songwriter and eclectic celebrity Nicki Minaj took to Twitter Monday to clarify what appeared to be an endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, thanking President Barack Obama for understanding her "sarcasm."
Minaj stirred political controversy last week following the release of a new song from Lil' Wayne's "Dedication 4" mixtape including rap lyrics by Minaj proclaiming support of the GOP candidate.

"I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney," Minaj raps in the song. "You lazy b-hes is f-ing up the economy."
Obama told Florida radio station Power 95.3 on "The Obie & Lil' Shawn Show" over the weekend he doubted the seriousness of the lyrics.
"Yeah, I'm not sure that's actually what happened," Obama said Saturday morning of Minaj's apparent endorsement of his opponent. "I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."
Minaj tweeted Monday to Obama thanking him for his understanding:

Asked if daughters Sasha and Malia listen to Nicki Minaj, Obama said he didn't think so though, "let's face it, they are now hipper than me. There's a certain point where your kids get old enough where they're just hipper than you are."
Obama added that he and Michelle Obama "try to keep up so we've got a nice hip hop collection on our iPods."

Yes, she is richer than most of us, hopefully she's one of those celebrities waiting for the IRS tax laws to change so she can pay more taxes......yeah right.
People need to stop giving Obama the "sympathy" vote because he is black....Get real everyone, this guy has done nothing he has promised! I particulary like how you get the very best photos of Obama...serious for serious situations, laughing when things are funny (like unemployment numbers), Sad when looking at the latest poll when he is down, and Reflective when thinking about the promise he made not to run if unemployment was still above 8%.
