(CNN) – Singer and celebrity Beyoncé Knowles will host a fund-raiser for President Barack Obama's campaign at husband and rapper Jay-Z's club "40/40" next week as the president campaigns in New York City, CNN confirmed Wednesday.
The September 18 event will be similar to previous celebrity-hosted Obama fund-raisers, where people who donate to the president's campaign will be entered for a chance to win tickets to the event.
A post on Beyoncé's Facebook page Wednesday reads: "Beyoncé is hosting President Barack Obama in New York City and you could join them! Make a donation to the President's campaign here and you will be automatically entered to win this once in a lifetime opportunity for you and a guest."
Omitt Romney tthrew up all over himself today disqualifying him from the campaign!
He needs to raise money ppl, point blank. Couple is worth nearly a billion dollars. But difference is they came from nothing! Great success stories

@myviewis: "Our people are dead and this is news. Why???????"
This story appears on the Political Ticker because it concerns a political fundraiser. Deal with it!
@Bousan: "For Obama a fund-raiser with Beyoncé is more important than meeting with Israel. He has to keep up appearances."
Turn off Fox and Limbaugh and you'd know that no request for a meeting or denial ever happened. The President and Netanyahu spoke on the phone for an hour Tuesday night. I think our relationship with Israel is fine.
Now, now you haters. nugent, that rapper, norris, hank william jr., and the empty chair and the old man to name a few.
