Romney has first intelligence briefing

(CNN) - Mitt Romney received his first intelligence briefing Monday, less than one week after criticizing the president over the attacks on U.S. diplomatic posts in Egypt and Libya.

His campaign confirmed that the Republican nominee took part in the briefing at an FBI building in Los Angeles following a campaign event.

Romney's team did not say who in the national intelligence community provided the briefing.

CNN reported Thursday that Romney would start receiving the updates this week - a customary measure in the latter stages of a general election campaign for presidential challengers, regardless of which party is in power.

Romney took heat last week for releasing a highly charged political statement against the Obama administration before all the facts were known about the attacks overseas. He doubled down on his criticism in the aftermath of the violence.

- CNN's Ashley Killough, Jim Acosta, and Rachel Streitfeld contributed to this report.

May be it is too early to give intelligent briefing for Mitt, he is highly mysterious man and doesn't care for half of his countrymen.

This is a man who has run for president before. If he can't run his campaign right, how is he going to run a country? Not ready for prime time and not ready to be president.

The intelligence briefing went thus; CIA:Sir,there is intelligence that suggest Iran is enriching uranium. Romney:call up the reserves, call for volunteers, but don't send any volunteer request to any of my five sons, they wont be available for the war,as they will be on mormon missionary work in France.

Wow! The poor and the middle class encased in a bubble to duke it out, again. Sounds like a premature release of Hunger Games Part 2. Why am I not surprised? The truth always comes out anyway.

It's not going to help. Brief him all he wants, nothing intelligent will come out of his mouth.

If's too late for a brain transplant for the twit.
Oops, sorry, those kind of briefings, I don't feel comfortable giving this moron any intelligence reports. It's obvious that as a businessman he can't run his own campaign and, as his own wife explained for pity votes which didn't help, he didnt know enough about his family or one of his own non serving sons either when the kid was ten years old.
I would disappear to one of my many mansions and take the lying altar boy with you. These two have no conscience character because they lie find and again even after the truth hits them in their smirky and plate faces.

Now, if they could inject some intelligence to go along with that intelligence briefing, it might improve things for him. That would be bad for the country, mind you, but it would be better for him.
