Romney paid taxes for each of past 20 years, says campaign

(CNN) - GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney paid taxes every year between 1990 and 2009, a notarized letter from his accountant will say, according to Romney's campaign.

Romney's full 2011 return, along with the letter from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, will be posted later Friday on Romney's campaign website.

As if the IRS would let Romney get away with not paying his taxes, seriously who is so dumb to think that. Yet noone in the Democratic Party is worried that Obama says he can't do the job from the inside because it needs to be done by us the people.

Well if the job cannot be done from the inside then Obama needs to come to the outside with the rest of us and give up the chair of president.

The last time the Romney campaign made assertion that were were supposed to just "take their word" for was 2002. It turned out that they had lied, and had lied blatantly. With a track record like that, why should we just take their word?

Wow – Embarrasing on the part of PWC.

Even more embarrasing if Mitt is so unintelligent that he would think a note from his CPA mommy would make a difference.

But thanks, Mitt for bringing your taxes front and center again.

Sorry Bud – not good enough. We want to see the returns, just like every other candidate, not a brief synopsis of what you want to release. Now you really look like your hiding something.

Things we do care about Romney:
He pays A LOT in taxes.
He clearly cares about the 47% AND the 53%
He is extremely generous and charitable, more-so than Obama by a mile.
Harry Reid is a filthy liar.

So does this mean from say 1980-1990 NO TAXES WERE PAID just like Harry Reid stated?

Just because his accountants say so, I don't believe it. They are paid big bucks to make him look good!

They were posted before 2pm. He paid 14.1%, while Pres. Obama paid 20.4% in 2011. Romney's rate could have been much lower had he taken all of his charitable deductions. This return was made for show. RomneyReneges.
