Ryan 'very comfortable' as Romney's V.P. candidate

Lakeland, Florida (CNN) - Rep. Paul Ryan told reporters Friday that he is "comfortable" with how Romney's campaign is managing his role as the vice presidential nominee, after Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker questioned in a radio interview whether the campaign was effectively using the relative newcomer .

Walker, who recently survived a recall election in Wisconsin, praised Mitt Romney for making a "bold" choice in selecting his friend and seven-term congressman from his home state.

But Walker told radio host Charlie Sykes that the Romney campaign could be using Ryan, 42, more effectively. He suggested Ryan could teach the Republican presidential nominee a thing or two.

“They not only need to use him out on the trail more effectively, they need to have more of him rub off on Mitt, because I think Mitt thinks that way but he’s gotta be able to articulate that. I think he’s got a compelling message, he just has to get out and tell it. I think too many people are restraining him from telling it,” Walker said Friday on WTMJ Newsradio.

On Friday afternoon Ryan flew from New Orleans to Florida with his mother, Betty Ryan Douglas, and together they visited a fruit stand in Lakeland and purchased Florida-grown tangerines. Afterward a reporter asked him to weigh in on the governor’s assessment of his role in the presidential campaign.

Referring to Walker, Ryan said, "Oh he’s just a good backer of mine. I feel very good about it."

He said he was happy with where he was going and the events he was attending, including the contentious speech at the AARP convention.

“Look at what we’re doing; we’re talking to local people, going around the country, talking to local press. I’m excited about my role, and I feel very comfortable with it,” Ryan said.

When pressed on whether the vice presidential hopeful feels the Romney campaign is incorporating his ideas into their overall message. He said, “I do, absolutely.”

During the interview with the conservative radio host, Walker said the Republican presidential campaign could learn from his difficult recall election in Wisconsin.

“What I think people want not only here but in other swing states in the Midwest is they want leadership,” Walker said. “They want bold, aggressive leadership. And for Mitt Romney to have a chance to counter all of the negative attacks he sees from the president’s campaign, he’s got to come out even more forcefully with a strong plan about how he’s going to tackle the economic and fiscal crisis we face today.”

Paul Ryan is taking this as an opportunity for building up his own political platform but what he has been doing wrong is sort of a Kiss Ass type blindfolded himself without any conscious of the best interest of the nation.

Romney is rotten inside out without any vision of how American works together as a nation, how we stand together as a nation. The hidden video reveals his ill-sicked motives of his political game. Romney should go and work as community organizer since he is doing well in small communities especially church.

Romney and Ryan do not have any plan at all. Their primary goal is to attach Obama with all cost just to blindfold the general public. So every time Romney/Ryan attacks on Obama, Obama scores a point.

Thanks to James Carter IV who saves American from Romney/Ryan in 2012.

BOLD CHOICE to chose a bold faced liar like Paul Ryan, but then again Reublicans entire party is based on lies, they just won't get any Independent votes. It is interesting that Romney has taken quite the dive ever since picking Ryan and his poll numbers will drop again next week from 47gate

  7. The REAL TRUTH...

Well of course he is... if he fails in his VP attempt (more than likely) he can always fall back to his Senate seat. Either way he continues to suck on the public teat as he has done his entire adult life. The GOP candidates are essentialyl irrelevant folks... take a close look at the Congressional elections! That's where the real RACE is going on. Whomever controls Congress controls the power and the purse strings and the current crop of GOP funders stands to gain quite handsomely should we end up with a GOP controlled Congress – no matter if Obama is re-elected or not. The rape and pillage of the middle-class by the 1%, the thinly veiled privatization of SS/Medicare and old whote men telling women wht to do with their bodies must CEASE !!
We must ensure that the GOP does not take Congress.

He should be very comfortable as VP. It would be hard not to look like a genius compared to Biden.
