New York (CNN) – He may be known for his cool temperament, but the first lady can bring out another side of President Barack Obama.
"I can make him mad any number of ways," Michelle Obama told ABC's "The View" in an interview set to air Tuesday.

According to the president, she does it by "being thoroughly unreasonable," which sometimes elicits a raise of her husband's voice.
"You try to keep an even keel during the day," Obama said, as written in pool reports. "But there are times, after the day is done, when it comes out."
Obama is in New York to speak at the United Nations General Assembly and the Clinton Global Initiative Tuesday, where he is expected to address the recent attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans. Although the president has refrained from characterizing the attack as an act of terrorism, he told "The View" co-hosts America will not "shrink back from the world" because of the attack.
"We are going to hunt down those who did this. We will bring them to justice. We will make sure that we do everything we have to do to protect our embassies and our diplomatic posts," he said. "But we're going to stay engaged."
The first couple, who held hands throughout the interview, will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on the night of the first presidential debate on October 3. President Obama said they will likely celebrate the occasion the following weekend. Debate night will focus around his first one-on-one match-up against Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
When asked what a potential President Romney would mean for the United States, Obama said "We can survive a lot, but the American people don't want to just survive, we want to thrive," before pointing to the two men's different visions for the country.
Romney recently pounced on comments Obama made during a Univision town hall, where the president claimed Washington is changed from the outside. But the president stood by the remarks when questioned by co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, a known critic of Obama.
"The idea was you can't change Washington from the inside," he said. "You've got to mobilize the American people. When ordinary people are engaged and paying attention, that's when Congress responds. We can't play just an inside game."
But the first lady said she is the one with the "best job."
"I don't have to make the hard decisions," she said.
The president also said his role in his daughter's lives is changing as they get older.
"They're now at the point where they still love their daddy, but they come in strategically," he said.
Malia, 14, is "turning into a night owl like me," he said, adding that she doesn't need to be tucked in anymore.
Michelle Obama said she's looking forward to a "long vacation" when their time in the White House is over.
"The thing I think I would enjoy the most is spending time working with kids," the president said. "Just giving young people the sense of possibility, of opportunity."
But he added, "first things first here, we do have an election ahead."
What a complete embarressment to our country. The leader of the United States goes on a liberal women's show to talk about stupid topics that are no presidentially related in any way. Meanwhile, our country was attacked last week by terrorist, Americans died, and the leaders of countries was asking to meet with him and he says he is too busy.
Im an independent, and this put me over the edge. I have been in the middle, going back and forth. My vote is important to me and I always want it to count towards something important, not just follow the masses or go by the false attack ads. His actionas has now caused him to officially lose my vote.
Obama 2012
I thought Michelle has been on a long vacation the past 3 1/2 years. No time for world leaders but more than enough time for The View ladies.
The View...... ha ha ha ha ha ha. It's not a show. It's Obama's Super PAC and dusty groupies.
Maybe he wouldnt need us to give him "more time" to fix the economy if he had used his time more efficiently and effectively the past four years.
When the going gets tough, Ann Romney yells "Stop!" and Sarah Palin quits her job, but our first lady just keeps smiling and going about doing good with the fight on childhood obesity and her concerns about our military families. What a classy lady!
They are both highly accomplished, decent people who rose through adversity and attained positions of great power. That's the kind of people I would prefer to have as our country's leaders. Rember: anyone who tries to bamboozle with the slogans of "smaller government" are really just trying to return to feudalism – a small group of wealthy elite, with the rest of the populace in poverty, fear, and despair. Obama/Biden 2012!
Obama in NYC for UN session, but sends Hillary Clinton to do tough meetings — while he tapes 'The View'
Do you trust A guy that crosses his legs like a lady????????
As long as the campaigning continues, all is well.
For all you haters, the Obama's won't be taking that vacation in January, but the Romney's will. Hopefully, they'll go to [Kolob] on a space shuttle or some aircraft where the windows "open up" to their standards. In any event, as long as they GO-who cares?
Seriously, he has the time to do "The View" but does not have time to talk to the world leaders at the UN conference. When this entire world is in such chaos, our wonderful President only has time to be the celebrity he wishes he were! Maybe he should chosen a different career!
And when exactly is our President going to have a meeting with the President of Israel as was requested? President Obama has the time to appear on the "View? He has the time to fund raise.during this same trip to NY. But when the President of Israel asked for a face-to-face meeting during this same time period, our President couldn't FIND an available slot. Must have just been an oversight!
Nothing unusual about wives pushing buttons. It's probably what prepares men for tough interactions outside of the family.
Can you make him be a leader? Didn't think so
HEY!!! All you haters!!! Over here!!! Here's the sentence you want to focus on ===>>> Michelle Obama said she's looking forward to a "long vacation" when their time in the White House is over. <<<=== There you go. That will keep you busy for hours.
I love her <3
Pathetic.
Oh boy, another talk show Celebrity in Chief?
Don't worry Michelle most of the country Obama made them mad with all his lies.
The speeches this year are almost word for word what he said in 2008 fact check and you will see.
Brave Men Fought and Brave Men Died
While a President slept the night
For FIVE hours straight they fought the fight
Knowing well Marines stood off shore in ships.
But they fought with only hope and faith
For a President slept the night
One by One they did Fall
One by One they did DIE
For a President slept the night
To rise up fresh to play in Vegas.
I would take the president's words to heart. After all, Osama bin laden is dead!
I think both of them are awesome, awesome people. I would thoroughly enjoy meeting them but I realize that is really unlikely. My hat is off to him for his tireless efforts to get an agenda in place to help everyone move ahead, despite the infuriating setbacks he has been handed. My hat is off to her for her brilliant focus on health, our children's health and the whole better food issue. I hope ardently that we get another four years, even if it means that Michelle's vacation will have to be delayed that long. That's ok, I only get a vacation about once every 8 years myself 🙂
Happy 20th anniversary, President & Mrs. Obama!!!
Can't wait to watch the View tomorrow......Obama 2012
