Campaigns dig in ahead of first presidential debate

Washington (CNN) - While both campaigns have been lowering expectations ahead of Wednesday's first presidential debate, two of Mitt Romney's more notable surrogates raised the bar on Sunday, with one predicting Romney will turn the race "upside down."

Both New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. John McCain said they expect Romney to shine when he shares the Denver stage for the first time with President Barack Obama.

Lol. I wonder how many people will realize that they just read an article that first tells you what both sides are doing, and then goes ahead and does that very thing by telling you about an obscure reference where the other side was doing the opposite. Probably not very many. Le sigh.

  6. Romney Said Let Them Eat Cake

Romney will shine during the debate the way McCain did in 2008. Poor old McCain would back a tree for President to satisfy his bitter loss in 2008.

"Both New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. John McCain said they expect Romney to shine when he shares the Denver stage for the first time with President Barack Obama."

Mitt Romney has been lying to "we the voters" for months now with his flip/flops and Etch a Sketch backtracking from one subject to the next ... one day to the next ... one minute to the next. If this is what McCain and Christie see as "shinning campaign moments" for Mitt Romney ... well, there isn't much more I can say but that there are a whole lot of fools living out there in GOPerville eating this nonsense up daily. Mitt Romney no more cares about the likes of me than he cares about the likes of the three quarters of Americans that aren't part of his "class". To think otherwise is to allow this man Romney to pull the wool over their eyes due to their own stupidity .... not his. He at least knows what he is saying, and why: specifically - he wants what he wants. Those who vote for him have no idea what his true moral fiber is or what his plans for them are ... and would still willing vote for him knowing he is absolutely laughing at them behind their backs.

    Gotta love GOPerville.

If republican candidates promise to jump head first into the holes dug, I'll be more than happy to help dig.
