Michelle Obama 'excited' about anniversary debate double date

Denver (CNN) - To the political world, October 3 is a high-stakes night in the presidential election. But for first lady Michelle Obama, it's the date night that wasn't.

"I told Barack, 'This, you know, attending a presidential debate on my 20th anniversary is probably the worst way for me to spend (it).' ... I get so nervous at these debates," she said in a recent interview alongside her brother, Craig Robinson.

"Barack doesn't have a big ego," she said. "That would kind of be the last thing that I would think of when I talk about my husband is big ego, because he doesn't have that. So it's not much to check."

Nobody believes this statement. It isn't nice to lie to the American people Michelle. You're picking up bad habits from your husband!!

    Happy Anniversary to the Obamas!
As for those of you who are so blinded by self-deprecation that you can't say anything nice, try saying nothing
    at all.

Yay! Married by the one and only Marxist Reverend Wright! Wonder if the President will give a "shout-out" to him?

@nonissue - I noticed you didn't think the Federal government for allowing you to work the first half of each year to pay all the taxes they charge you. Was that just an oversight? Also, I noticed you didn't thank the Federal government for putting you in debt to the tune of $250,000 per family member. Did you miss that?

Sorry ... yeah, I do get to say something. I'm sure Obama will attempt to crassly use the anniversary in some way – it is a political tactic. But this guy is a cold-hearted Chicago thug at heart.

Two of the biggest con artist in history. The taxpayers spent $1.3 BILLION to keep them in the style they think they deserve, just last year. This will end in January and then see how much of their money they will spend. Unless some nutjobs give them money, they may finally find out how the rest of us live. Or, maybe if we are real lucky, nobama can spend his time in prison for the crimes he has committed as the worst President in US history

Your hubby has a responsibility that's more important than your anniversary. He has neglected his duties for quite some time, and has put our country at risk financially and diplomatically. Furthermore, you seem very selfish, Michelle. Try thinking about the military folks who are still in place, risking their lives to keep us safe and free who are missing anniversaries, birthdays and other family milestones. I pray that a new president takes office in January 2013. BTW, I am not racist...I am an American!

These dates are agreed upon far in advance. If it's on their 20th anniversary then they planned it that way. You don't think they'd exploit their 20th wedding anniversary do you? naaah.

In the latest racial video of Barry he blames everyone for not waiving the Stanford Act. Yet we along the Gulf Coast will never forgive The Amateur for not waiving the Jones Act.

Does this couple or this candidate have no shame? Another "make it look good" photo op moment...a kiss that's never a kiss. Ann said her husband was a good dancer...maybe we can see a few steps for equal time in this debate.

The world is burning, the USA is trying to fight back against BO, and let's play kissy-face for the debate? It's a sad day for America. Good luck Mr. Romney.
