Romney wins debate - on Intrade
(CNNMoney) - To the investors on Intrade, there was little question who came away from Wednesday night's presidential debate on top: Mitt Romney.
Intrade is a prediction market that allows investors to wager on the outcome of events. In this case: the presidential election.

I don't see how disrespecting the rules and manipulating our system of democracy in front of the world makes Romney a winner. We just LOST global respect. The gaffe he made was huge proving Corporate Americans lead from a bully pulpit.

I decided to ad MSNBC to my name....those guys are beside themselves. I hope Chris Mathews makes it thru the night without stroking out. For all you libs who live on this site 24/7, and you know who you are, ....all I heard for a month leading up to tonight was how Romney was going to get buried by the master of oratory, Barack Obama. Well, its history and what a night it was. I said be careful what you wish for, but crass remarks and smuggness abounded throughout. Your candidate got schooled tonight and its just beginning. Romney was prepared and he will continue to prepare for the next two debates... its called discipline, determination and knowing the facts. Spin it all you want ( and I can't wait to hear your comebacks). Joe Biden vs Ryan will be interesting also.....I wonder how many times he will use the term "Man" in his oratory...as if he's talking to a bunch of beatniks in a coffee house.

I am sure when the fog settled and the hype and hobble calms down Obama will prevail as a winner. People want to see a fist fight not facts that is why everybody seems disappointed with Obama’s performance. One thing great about our president is he doesn't measure success in a minute or seconds as everybody seems to do. He is a visionary leader always above the fray, his dignity and respect for every human being doesn’t allow he to degrade his opponent his strength is his facts. He will definitely resonate with the thinking people in the medal for that wait and see the poling in to two or three days.

Obama was awful. He let Romney off the hook on so many issues time with all his lies. No mention of the 47%, immigration, Baine, the Ryan tax plan. He seemed unprepared. Romney is a used care salesman and Obama let him control the debate. The moderator was one of the worse in debate history. Had no control and let Romney dominate while Obama looked down uninterested. Obama just let Romney back into the race. A disgraceful performance...

Pres. Obama showed us his true colors tonight. They are not Red, they are not Blue, nor are the White. They are Yellow.
Gov Romney looked panicky. As always he brought his lies with him. President Obama was substantive and in control. I would not want Gov. Romney anywhere near the red button.
Simply put, president Obama won the debate on facts.

This is a surprise? Challengers ususally win. Besides, Obama didn't mention the 47% or really hit back on other questions.
I knew Romney was going to bring the critique and the pie in the sky. I just didnt think he would get away with all the vague solutions he came up with. I still dont know HOW hes going to make his tax cuts revenue neutral. Exactly what programs does he plan to cut? Thats the 5 trillion dollar question. Thats a lot of money and that requires extensive spending cuts. Shouldnt we know what exactly is getting cut?
