No injuries after shot fired at Obama campaign office in Denver

(CNN) - A single shot was fired Friday at an Obama campaign office in Denver, Colorado, a police spokeswoman said.

The shot resulted in no injuries, although people were in the building at the time, Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez told CNN.

Police did not have a description of a suspect but did have a possible vehicle of interest, Lopez said.

A glass window was shattered, images of the scene showed.

Lopez said the Secret Service, which protects President Obama, was not involved in the investigation Friday, although the agency’s involvement would depend on what Denver police find.

Obama's re-election campaign had no comment and referred questions to Denver police.

Obama was in Washington on Friday.

Hate is preventing this country from progress. Specially, when hate is promoted by Billionaires it can
be powerful force to overcome. We hope for reason and calm to win the future.

    Republican's – WOW

I'm not with either party, but I would be ashamed if I were a Republican right now.

Notice how Romney didn't come out immediately and condon this?

Maybe in a week or two he might say something like " The Democratic office was not eloquently shot at ".

  6. Blah blah the wheel's off your trailer

These white supremacists are at it once again, trying to inject Jim Crow into the mainstream of our society and use their fear mongering tactics to scare democrats from voting. But it won't work and President Obama is going to win the election by a LANDSLIDE!

Check his pants for another brown stain.
He made the statement that he'd "either be dead or in Jail if Obama is re-elected", so he might want to start a war...

the political divisiveness between parties has fostered such levels of 'hate' that this was inevitable.

My take Biden said they the president of the USA and the Vice President got the wrong information they did not know what happen in Lybia . ok so he know what’s going on in Iran. Don’t trust what that clown and the President are saying about foreign affairs. They can’t talk about the economy what else is there to talk about I know blame it on the rich who work for their money.

Probably an NRA right-wing tea-partier. We don't have a civilized society anymore. The wild west is back. And I don't like it. We've become a vigilante state. Everyone buy a gun and walk around with it. And if someone looks at you funny, shoot him. Can't go to the mall or the movie theater without a gun to protect yourself. Violence of such kind is not a reflection of our democracy.
    America is better than that.

President Obama has been severly criticized for being controlled in his temper and unwilling to engage in rhetoric on false hood of his opponent. When we celebrate anger, vitriol and deception as marks of success, we also encourage extremes of behavior such as this violent act of shooting at a campaign office.

Republicans and ardent catholics are social criminals; they violently hate all those who's views (political and religious) are different than theirs.

So glad that no one was hurt. Guns are completely out of control in this country. Too many people turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the very real problem of gun violence in this country.

One of the consequences of being inflicted with the most divisive president since Lincoln. The southern states started seceding six weeks after Lincoln was elected President. While I don't expect that extreme a reaction if Obama is re-elected, I wouldn't be terribly surprised either.

I guess they failed to see the huge American flag displayed in the window also. One would think that the flag alone would remind the offenders that we live in a Democracy. It is a shame.
