No injuries after shot fired at Obama campaign office in Denver

(CNN) - A single shot was fired Friday at an Obama campaign office in Denver, Colorado, a police spokeswoman said.

The shot resulted in no injuries, although people were in the building at the time, Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez told CNN.

Police did not have a description of a suspect but did have a possible vehicle of interest, Lopez said.

A glass window was shattered, images of the scene showed.

Lopez said the Secret Service, which protects President Obama, was not involved in the investigation Friday, although the agency’s involvement would depend on what Denver police find.

Obama's re-election campaign had no comment and referred questions to Denver police.

Obama was in Washington on Friday.

Dear Republicans: just keep claiming this election isn't about race... You're only convincing yourself.

I find it interesting that although this article appeared hours ago (not 2 min ago as showing), not one comment has been posted. Is the country confused as to which party could be behind such vicious behavior? Don't come after me, I don't believe in guns. I do, however take note of all the curious violence surrounding this election.

They're determined to get rid of President Obama no matter how. This country has NOT moved when it comes to race relations in 50 years. Oh they pretend we have, but that's just another lie. God bless you President Obama.

I live in Colorado and for the third time this month I have awoken to my Obama-Biden sign stolen. I guess the GOP in my state don't think their guys can win without stealing signs, shooting campaign offices, along with voter suppression. Too pathetic.

America is so smart? Has democracy ran it course? We are more divided today than many yesterdays. Our elite prestigious universities can't even protect an innocent child (Penn State). Our superlative, esteemed and well educated wall street practically destroyed the middle-class in America. Today we have Romney, a consummate liar...if ever elected, the first thing he would say "I Don't want to be president". How smart are we?

A lot of Democrats and Liberals are about to fill up the comment section with jokes about Republicans and Conservatives. Probably a few gun law rants as well.

Crazy doesn't have a political party. Crazy is apolitical and can be dangerous.

What is more dangerous is using this act to fill you with hatred for someone of the same nationality, especially given the lack of data in the article. Let's just all agree it's an unfortunate incident, and be glad nobody was hit.

Really ??? This is simply a stunt by Liberals to try and gin-up sympathy, rally the base and paint the opposition as radicals.

1st Clue – No one was hurt – 1st clue.
2nd Clue – Firing a gun will get you jail time – why not throw a rock if you want to vandalize something.
3rd Clue – Absolutely no positive outcome of this act if you oppose President Obama.

Most likely it was a Liberal supporter trying to make the Republicans/Conservatives bad – using a gun to emphasize their agenda that wants tighter restrictin on guns.

If & when they find out who did this (and they won't...car was stolen most likely)...strong odds are it was NOT a conservative.

A truly desparate attempt by a Liberal-Nut to get the media away from news about the economy & cover-ups about terrorist attacks.
