No injuries after shot fired at Obama campaign office in Denver

(CNN) - A single shot was fired Friday at an Obama campaign office in Denver, Colorado, a police spokeswoman said.

The shot resulted in no injuries, although people were in the building at the time, Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez told CNN.

Police did not have a description of a suspect but did have a possible vehicle of interest, Lopez said.

A glass window was shattered, images of the scene showed.

Lopez said the Secret Service, which protects President Obama, was not involved in the investigation Friday, although the agency’s involvement would depend on what Denver police find.

Obama's re-election campaign had no comment and referred questions to Denver police.

Obama was in Washington on Friday.

This is domestic terrorism and should be investigated by the department of homeland security.

I wouldn't put it past the Obama campaign for doing it themselves, to change the narrative and deflect the focus off their failed policies and "Ole smiling laughing Uncle Joe"

I'm not laughing, this economy is in the toilet and we need someone to fix it!!!

Well this proves what morons have been "created" by Fox News and their fear mongering and hate towards the office of president. How can anyone watch the drivel that comes from this supposed "news" network. Murdoch and his minions hack phones and break laws to get things to come out the way Murdoch thinks they should be. He needs to be removed from broadcasting here in the USA for ethics reasons. I am not saying that they need to eleiminate Fox, but Murdoch is evil incarnate.

Man, if this does not reek of the intellect needed to support the extreme rights agenda, they are like the Taliban, and willing to use physical violence to stop anyone that does not follow them. Right wing extremist, like Timothy McVeigh and he many anti-abortionist that have murdered or used violence to stop others.
This is nothing more than right wing terrorism to stop anyone that might not vote for Romney/Ryan, and the extreme right wing media is fully and completely responsible for helping create these freaks.

This is a result of when you bully someone...Obama's campaign has been nothing but in your face trying to bully you into supporting him. His supporters call you crazy names and try to slander you if you don't support him, and the tube is full of nothing but Obama adverts.

How is this any different than IRA a55assinations? Roadside IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan? This is domestic terrorism. Find these teabaggers, try them and fry them in Guantanamo. Better yet, locate their house and take it out with a drone strike.

America, this is your right wing. The more real progress is made, I'm afraid this kind of stuff will increase. It's not patriotic – it's cowardly.

Outrageous. In the 21st century America we still have these outbursts of uncivilized behavior. People should grow up morally to be up to the modern challenges. Otherwise we are doomed to be the past and to repeat the history of the countries we loathe now.

The most shocking part of that article was that Obama was in Washington yesterday. At least he remembers where it is.

This act of hatred doesn't surprise me.The R & R team has been spewing racism, cleverly disguised, and caused this divide more so than the O & B team.Romney is for the wingnuts,Obama is for the middle class.Wake up people! This falls on the head of the republicans. If this had happened at their office,do you really think they would not have blamed Obama and the dem's?

President Obama ( and sadly, his family as well) is the number one target in the world and will be until he dies.

There will be an endless supply of people who would love to be the guy that killed the first Afro American President.

Hate is a Hell of A Drug.
