No injuries after shot fired at Obama campaign office in Denver

(CNN) - A single shot was fired Friday at an Obama campaign office in Denver, Colorado, a police spokeswoman said.

The shot resulted in no injuries, although people were in the building at the time, Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez told CNN.

Police did not have a description of a suspect but did have a possible vehicle of interest, Lopez said.

A glass window was shattered, images of the scene showed.

Lopez said the Secret Service, which protects President Obama, was not involved in the investigation Friday, although the agency’s involvement would depend on what Denver police find.

Obama's re-election campaign had no comment and referred questions to Denver police.

Obama was in Washington on Friday.

When you consciously divide the country, turn people against one another for your own political gain, what do you expect?!

like i've said in the past, this is NOT YOUR FATHERS re-publican party any longer. these individuals are full of hate and see the world as a black and white issue. bush poisoned them by preaching to them "either your with us or against us" they took that and ran with it...

People need to settle down. We don't need anger, we need reasonable debate. That reminds me what bothered me about the debate Thursday between Biden and Ryan. Biden was too angry and hostile. Both Ryan and Biden made some good points. But I could not stand Biden's derisive sneers and condescending chuckles. Most of the time his words simply attacked the intent of Ryan and Romney...according to him, Romney & Ryan “bet against America all the time” and WANT to hurt the middle class and the elderly. That is absurd. Everybody disagrees about the best course we should take, but why claim the other guys want to hurt people? We need to work together! A divisive & combative man like Biden has no business anywhere near the White House.

Yes were saying no to Romney, not because hes a bad guy, I think hes smart, smarter then me, decent, caring, likeable chap! Were saying no because out of 24 special advisers on foreign policy, 17 served in the Bush-Cheney administration. We didn't get a say in two wars because were not politicians, but to not mention Bush and the troops, pretend your side just admitted to that, we were lied into war on faults pretense, bad advice, a hundred thousand Americans mind you, killed and injured. I as a humanist would be to embarrassed not to give them a little more time out, till then out of 24 advisers one or two is one thing, 17 a little 2 much like a do over Thanks: Sincerely fu2

I'm sure mitt will use this in the debate and try and politicize the moment. He loves every one and his campaign doesn't condemn that behavior. At his rallies people show up wearing racial slurs on t shirts and when then call the potus "a monster "he doesn't correct it.
Never underestimate the power stupid. We live and breath it. Very sad.

I was wondering when something like this was going to happen; all the while hopeing and praying that it wouldn't. We seem to be the most violent nation in the world. And organizations like the NRA are just enabling criminals and kooks under the guise of "freedom"!
