No injuries after shot fired at Obama campaign office in Denver

(CNN) - A single shot was fired Friday at an Obama campaign office in Denver, Colorado, a police spokeswoman said.

The shot resulted in no injuries, although people were in the building at the time, Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez told CNN.

Police did not have a description of a suspect but did have a possible vehicle of interest, Lopez said.

A glass window was shattered, images of the scene showed.

Lopez said the Secret Service, which protects President Obama, was not involved in the investigation Friday, although the agency’s involvement would depend on what Denver police find.

Obama's re-election campaign had no comment and referred questions to Denver police.

Obama was in Washington on Friday.

Well nothing says I'll show you like shooting an angry looking pane of glass. I realy don't know what someone was trying to accomplish with this? If someone has a opposing view this does not strenghthen thier argument, in any constructive way. One of the strengths of democracy is the ability to withstand opposing view points. When your arguments sit on rock solid foundations you can handle those who don't agree with you. If you can't than this sort of act is the result. This sort of behavior lowers the image of those who particapate and is a great way to work against one's own cause.

No doubt this was a member of the tea party who had sympathy for David Koresh and Timothy McVeigh. Those groups will stop at nothing because they are so narrow-minded they can't bear to see an African-American President. In other words this is a non-story hoax concocted by the left to drum up support for Obama. FAIL!

Insecure Republicans are trying to intimidate democratic volunteers at work.I guess they can't get enough votes for their candidate, so they intimidate the other party, volunteers and voters.

That's a shame. Things like this show that Obama will be re-elected. Police should be privatized which will create more jobs. Write to congress and demand the privatization of law enforcement.

First of all, thank God no one was injured.

Having said that-this is what it has come down to. Joe Biden smacked down Paul Ryan last night and these ignorant unGodly rednecks know it's over. Although I will not be around in 50 years, it is delightful to know most of these maniacs won't either.

Voters of Obama and Biden and those who are working endlessly to support the president, be careful and let's show these pigs WE THE PEOPLE will decide who we want as our president.

Wasn't it Palin who told her followers to set their sites on the target? (or something like that)

Amazing how much hatred there is for a black president. Republicans breed this kind of hate in their party. Republicans don't like anything that is not white, on white, on white on white. Look at their candidates.

The sad part is people actually blame the Republicans for this. You may think we're crazy, but we're not that crazy.
