(CNN) - As both presidential candidates prepare for Tuesday's debate - Mitt Romney in Boston and President Obama in Williamsburg, Virginia - their surrogates will be out on the trail.
Paul Ryan, Romney's running mate, will hold a campaign rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin before heading to Cincinnati for a second campaign event. Ann Romney also campaigns in Pennsylvania.
Michelle Obama will hold campaign rallies in Ohio.

It is strange that this photo montage is the same almost every day. Romney gets a nicely set up direct-to-camera shot, while the rest are stuck with action shots- particularly Obama and Biden, with their mouths open.
