Town hall format leads to close-quarter exchanges

(CNN) - With time running out and the final debate next week on foreign policy, Tuesday night's showdown was the last best chance for President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney to win on the major issue of the campaign - the economy.

The contentious debate in New York featured pointed personal and political attacks by both men standing within arm's length of each other.

Close-quarter exchanges: more like the Obama plan was to lie about everything; his Energy plans; the fact is oil leases down 37%; natural gas leases down 42%. President Obama pretty much lied about the last four years under the Obama administration, president Obama can’t defend 4 years of failure.

Mr. Rmney's style is acceptable in his line of work. While you are in negotiations for a business take over you are displaying a very aggressive style. You have to show you are tough. That style may not work with members of Congress particularly those who have been there for many years. It would definitely not work in foreign policy exchanges. The banging of the shoe and the slamming of fists ended with President Eisenhower.

Obama has not yet changed his playbook for the next 4 years, he is still on the same course. Many distortions and fabrications as to what he has real accomplished. The first two years of his first 4 yrs. he foolishly focused only on healthcare, forgetting that jobs were more important at that time. They still are the most important thing to the middle-class, especially those who do not belong to unions. Business will not invest in new employee because of the pressure place on them through outlandish regulations and Obamacare. The President still after 4 yrs, still doesn't get it. Many do not feel better off, and now they don;t feel safer under this administration. Obama team = NO VISION.

Candy Crowley, without hesitation, exposed the major left-leaning bias in the news media by taking President Obama's side on two different occasions. What comes after a state-run media? I can't believe Romney ever agreed to let someone from CNN moderate, but what other choice exists that isn't biased? Journalists that cannot control their personal bias should be press secretaries, not debate moderators. The worst part of it is that she was wrong, unbelievable!

A debate is about the issues - not about voter preferences. Why did CNN throw in a voter tracking graph! If you're going to include the undecides, then don't be exclusive in swaying votes, you need to include everyone! Leave voter tracking graphs off of the debate viewer screen!

Romney was exposed for the child he's is..... he pouted when he couldn't bowl over the moderator and the President like he did in his first Lie filled debate. Continuously trying to get extra time breaking all the other debate rules and the funniest stunt, when he turned around pouting he bangs the mike against his leg showing contempt and trying to muffle what the President was tying to say................. And this is the man-child the grand old party want to represent the United State of America..........

Folks, here is where you need to think deeply. Romney is always claiming that he has been in business for 25 years, he knows how the economy works (without giving specific details); and that he will fix the economy. In the right mind, the man who wants to show the world that US is the strongest nation on earth (probably by initiating another war), at the same time saying he will fix the economy.
What is the use of fixing the economy while you know it will cost the country mega dollars going and hence bring the country back to an awkward economy. It doesn't make any sense at all and never forget the cost of lives. No price should be put to anyone's life.
