Obama talks housing... on The Daily Show

New York (CNNMoney) - Finally! A presidential candidate brought up the housing crisis.

Appearing Thursday night on The Daily Show, President Barack Obama said that housing has been one of the weakest parts of the economic recovery. But he blamed Congress for not doing more to help struggling homeowners, specifically citing his plan to expand refinancing for underwater borrowers who owe more than their property is worth. Refinancing typically puts an additional $3,000 in a homeowner's pocket, he said.

The Obama's are masters at spending and redistributing other people's money. They make Bernie Madoff look like a rank amateur.

Howard – Don't forget, your Ford dealership was bailed out with "Cash for Clunkers" and the auto bailout. You really need to thank President Obama for saving your butt.

I am fortunate because my house in Florida that I purchased in 2005 for $259,000, had its value drop to $78,000 under Bush by 2008. It was recently appraised at $145,000, and housing starts are up. Life is getting better without a single republican vote to help our president and our country.

Ok......voters, ask yourselves......if he wants to "do more", is it REALLY going to be ANY DIFFERENT, than the first 4 yrs? NO........he still just wants to spend, spend, spend, to accomplish........NOTHING!

He has no plan, that is serious. he just wants to run up our debt, to 20 Trillion dollars, instead of 16 trillion dollars. He WANTS to bankrupt this country. That is the real truth.......and that is, frankly, subversive!

First Obama gets Candy Crowley (CNN) to help him win re-election ... now he turns to Hollywood again.
SOME PLEASE HELP THE PRESIDENT! He certainly cannot win on his own merits.

to Rick McDaniel....................my President has a plan, it's written in English which I'm not sure you can read. He also has been talking about his plan that has WORKED and continues to WORK without any assistance from Congress. FYI. CONGRSS does have a job to do regardless of the weak cry-babies who keep the sets warm and do nothing else CONGRSS is a part of our Federal government, it's not just the President.

Housing Mess. What caused it? Why couldn't people pay their morgages? Could it be they didn't have the money? Why did they buy a house they couldn't afford? Not everybody lost their house. We didn't. So what happened. You know what happened. The Liberal's in Congress forced banks to make loans they would have turned down because some people couldn't qualify. The Banks were right. So now the Tax Payers are on the hook for millions of defunct morgages.

Yes Obama has a plan. Tax the Rich! But why hasn't more people taken advantage of Obama's Re-Finace Plan? Simple They STILL can't afford the payments!! But not to worry. Romney is going to be Elected.

There has been humpteen "save the house" plans and still Obama wants more? What about the man, next door to the House that was foreclosed on, that made all of his mortgage payments on time? He's drowning under the weight of inflated food and gasoline prices, but is getting NO help.
