5 things we learned in Monday's debate

Boca Raton, Florida (CNN) - The third and final presidential debate proved to be a substantive, if not sharp, discussion on the major issues facing the nation as both candidates tried in earnest to persuade the small sliver of undecideds to vote for them.

While foreign policy was the overarching theme, it was no surprise that the domestic economy shared center stage as President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney each sought to score points on the No. 1 issue of this election.

Turn off the sound and you see Romney squirm a few times. That lets you know when the president hit the mark as a bullseye.

Ignorance is bliss! If Obama is re-elected, dont come and cry on our shoulder. Saying Romney is only for the rich white people, if we are looking at it that way, Obama is only for blacks. Flip flop? The biggest flip flop is when Obama is standing in front of an all black crowd and makes himself sound "more black." thengets in front of everyone else and is normal again. We need someone who is real the whole time, instead of constantly trying to change faces. Mitt is the only sane choice! If you think Obama is the man for the job, you fell to his deception and that is very misfortunate.

SUMMARIZING RAW MONEY: "There is no logical connection between (his) before and after policies except Romney's consistent ambition and willingness to say whatever is necessary at any given juncture to achieve the presidency" (John Avlon, CNN, 23 October).

We know Mr. Romney failed Geography. Syria and Iran share no borders, and Iran doesn't "use Syria to gain access to the oceans" as Romney ascerts.

Romney does not have a plan for anything other than he wants to be President. I have been in meetings when someone was not prepared and their only response was to agree with someone else. No offense to those with mental illness but I think Romney is bi-polar. I prefer to know where someone stands even if I disagree. I have no respect for someone that says what he thinks people want to hear. Romney threw out the red meat to the base to get the nomination now he has moved to the center near the left. We are much smarter than he thinks we are. Romney has a flawed character and can not be trusted.
