CNN Fact Check: Is al Qaeda's core decimated or is group growing?
(CNN) - During Monday night's foreign-policy focused presidential debate, President Barack Obama made the case that al Qaeda in Pakistan is decimated while former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney argued they are on the rise in other countries:

Good Question – Look at what we had to go thru when Bush was Pres – we were attacked – we had to constantly watch for the "colors" such as High alert – medium alert – Low Alert – all this was after 911 – I mean, everytime you turned on the News ( even local) there was some type of "Terror Watch" with some type of "color" or something.
We haven't been attacked with the current administration – because they've got people in place, so we don't get attacked, and we are being protected with the policies of Obama.
BTW – we've got OBL – and al – alwaki – or whatever his name was – and others that I don't know of.
