Romney has 'stage three Romnesia,' Obama says

Delray Beach, Florida (CNN) – President Barack Obama evaluated his debate performance on Tuesday, the morning after his last showdown with Gov. Mitt Romney, and ramped up his "Romnesia" rhetoric, saying Romney's performance Monday night put him at "stage three."

At a rally in battleground Florida the president said Romney shifted his positions on the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq and his commitment to taking down Osama bin Laden.

"Now we've come up with a name for this condition, it's called 'Romnesia'," Obama said. "We had a severe outbreak last night … it was stage three 'Romnesia'."

In an effort to make sure "nobody in the surrounding area catches it," the president highlighted what he sees as the changes coming from the former Massachusetts governor on the campaign trail.

"If you can't seem to remember the policies on your website or the promises you've been making over the six years you've been running for president … Obamacare covers preexisting conditions, we can cure this disease," Obama said to a crowd of roughly 11,000.

His lively rally came on the same day his campaign released a 19-page pamphlet outlining the plans he hopes to institute if he wins a second term in office and an accompanying television ad set to air in nine battleground states. The booklet is largely a rehash of policies previously proposed, but is a response to critics who have charged the president with offering few specifics on his second term agenda.

At Tuesday's rally, the president said he made the case for re-election during the debate.

"I hope that during the debate I made those differences very clearly because the greatest responsibility I have as president is to keep the American people safe," Obama said, contrasting his performance with Romney's "all over the map" showing.

While he offers leadership, Romney is only providing a "list of things that are wrong," the president said.

"He can just go over it verbatim – just boom, boom, boom. Power point presentations," Obama said. "But you know what, that's not leadership you can trust. And Florida, you know me."

The Florida stop started on a lighter note when Obama was introduced by Scott van Duzer who locked the president in a bear hug at a campaign stop in the state last month.

"Every time I need a pick me up I try to see Scott," Obama said.

As a Canadian,President Obama schooled Romney on Foreign policy. He looked worse than Ryan and very very inexperienced. No matter the spin, from David Gregen/John King/Dana Bash it was not even close. In my opnion Obama won by at least 75%.We are glad that Obama is the leader of USA,very thoughtful and cool.

I hope now Romney realizes he won't be able to run again in 2016, because even the other Republican candidates will make Romnesia references

I can't wait for the day that we don't have to see or hear this angry and narcissistic man screaming into a microphone behind a podium!! He's been campaigning for four years!! We need a real president. Romney/Ryan – looking forward to your leadership.

Just think, the South is the poorest part of our country and they all still vote republican. There's a lot that can be said about them.

Romney keeps saying "I will create 12 million jobs" "I know how to do that" but he never tells us HOW he's going to do that! (Taxes alone do not create jobs!)

23 Oct 2012. Stock market is taking a nose dive today. Stores are hurting for paying customers, Layaway is popular again. Jobs still scarcerer than hen's teeth. But we are all moving forward! With Obama no doubt. California Gov says either pay more taxes or less school. Food Stamps up, Jobs down. Looks like that Hope and Change is flatter than yesterday's economy. Bue we are Re-Electing Obama, right?

Did anyone else find it disturbing the way Willard kept saying, "when I'm president"?? With the rethuglican voter suppression and Willards spawn buying stock in a company that provides voting machines, does this bother anyone else??

With all due respect Mr. President, but you have no class. You didn't win the debate season even if you bullied your way in the last 2 debates. Americans will still remember how incompetent you looked in the first debate. Next you adopted the Chicago style of interrupting, laughing a la Biden, making fun, or taking that arrogant look. Governor Romney was decent and you like it or not, he understands that without a strong economy, everything else is a fairy tale.

Obama all the way. What a great debate last night. Obama schooled Romney as Romney tried to lie his way.

He repeated everything that Obama said. What a copy cat. This man has no integrity.

OBAMA 2012! I do have the sneaking suspicion that Romney is on some sort of medication. Serious business! The way his wife has to lead him around as if she was more of a motherly/caregiver type rather than his wife. I'm sure they love one other, but I don't think Mitt is fit for the job as President! He would be a puppet in the Oval Office for Trump, Rove and the rest of his buddies. I think the GOP is running one of the most scandalous schemes, by attempting to "buy" the presidency to set in place an agenda that would set us back 100 yrs.

Willard was lost last night in the debates. I would suggest read a few books on modern warfare. BTW Willard our navy is second to none. We a commander in chief that understands how the military works and you are not that person.

The reason why Romney lies and flip/flops so much is because he believes lying is ok if it helps him reach his goals. This is a great philosophy for a business man or a salesman (well, except for the poor schmucks doing business with him). But, it is dangerous for a president.

Ray E Of course we are re-electing Obama...How many years did it take for republican leadership to bring this country to the verge of collapse?? 4 years ago the economy was losing 700,000 jobs a month, under Obama's leadership 23 straight moths now of adding jobs.Obama is going to keep his seat.End of story

Obama is just owning Mitt left and right. Sometimes the bully gets his come-uppings. And Mitt is feeling this now. He looked flustered in the debates, red, sweaty, confused. If Obama was lackluster in the first debate, Mitt was flat out on the ropes the 2nd and third. Looks like Obama rope-a-doped him in the first debate. He let Mitt come out aggressive, and show his hand.
Obama responded with accurate, calculated, attacks the final 2 rounds.

Romney was on a horse with a bayonet while Obama hit him with drone shock and awe strikes.

Romeny supporters always reference the 1st debate & neglect the last two. If all we're going to go on is is the performance in the 1st debate, then why have 2 more? Obama was prepared to debate Romney the 1st time on what Romney has campaigned on all these years. Now Obama has debated Romney on the flip-flopper that he truly is. Thus the "ROMNESIA" punch line. For all those out there who have kept score after the 1st debate it is; 2 -1 in Obama's favor. It's just too bad that your true disdain for a African American President, wont let you see the truth...Obama 2012 folk!

Romney was sweating so bad in the debate I thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown.
Romney was so out of touch he told the narrator go to his website to check for the answer.
