Could Obama's struggles with white voters cost him the election?

Washington (CNN) - The nation's first black president could be in danger of becoming a "one-termer" if he can't convince enough white voters that he deserves another four years in the Oval Office.

For weeks, he's hovered around 40% of white voter support – a level that Democratic presidential candidates have struggled with in the recent past and one that analysts believe Barack Obama must maintain in order to win. At the same time, he has to encourage minority voters to go to the polls and capture 80% of their support.

"Except, of course, pit every other minority group against them and painted them as racist?"

Sorry, but white GOPers/Teatrolls painted themselves into that corner all on their own. That you've decided the next step is to start painting your shoes is rather pathetic, but still funny.

Wow another racist comment. Do you hear the words that come out of your mouth and out of your keyboard. You should be a shamed of yourself. STOP THE HATE all it does is make you a miserable person who later becomes a miserable old person with no friends and no one that wants to be around you. YOU ARE THE RACIST but you probably already know that.

Look, Listen to almost one dozen radio talk show hosts only to find out they are old white men and the odd cluless white womaen. Even in a city like Dertoit it is in your face racist radio and all anti-Obama. The other night I turned on my radio and picked up six radio stations and all I heard was anti-Obama rhetoric. It is true that they and they home boys network own the media but does it have to come to this? The blue eyed evil tide is too strong I do not think that the Prez would be relected but I do hope that calmer and more rational heads prevail because something stink and scary is going on here..

I still want to know who was the closet republican who coached and advised the Prez in the first debate knowing full well it was a game changer. Who was the person who tied his hand and shut him up to make. this bright man look docile.

Could Romney's struggles with the black vote cost him the election? That's a better headline, since Romney is getting O percent of the black vote.

With republicans it has been about the black man in the WH and Mitch McConnell made it perfectly clear where that racist ole Kentuckian stood not wanting to help any democratic president especially the first black president to suceed in his first term at any cost. With Jan Brewer your racist Arizona governor pointing her finger in Pres.Obamas face to John Roberts of the Supreme Court nodding his head publicly disapproving on the presidents first public address its been racist points like this that makes Americans disgusted with others of the republican party and if republicans truely loved their country they'd admonish these racist as well but quess what you republicans are mostly all the same ,even the African-American ones that denounce their first black president as someone different just because he's not only black,he's democrate but to republicans who don't know sucess because none of their presidents from Hoover till the Bushs have never been, that's sucessful and it must hurt to keep voting for failures and with Romney he'll be just another loser in a republicans world!!

    John, PA

Here is why. two wars costing almost two trillion dollars some going into the pockets of white men. Tax cuts for the same people. The same people and their friends on Wall street destroying lives and stealing billions, poor and hard working people losing their homes and jobs, eight hundred thousand jobs lost before Obama came into office. Yes, you crooks blame the black man as usual.
