Former Vice President Cheney, Former President George HW Bush to headline Romney fund-raisers

Washington (CNN) - Former Vice President Dick Cheney and former President George H.W. Bush are headlining major fund-raisers for the Romney campaign, a source familiar with the events tells CNN.

Cheney, along with talk show host Glenn Beck and entertainer Lee Greenwood, are attending an event in Dallas Thursday night. Romney attended two fund-raisers with Cheney in Wyoming this last July.

Next week in Houston former President Bush and Romney's son, Craig, will be the major attractions at an event.

To attend either event, donors have to have given at least $50,000 to the Romney Victory Committee or bundlers would have had to raise at least $250,000.

Neither Mitt Romney nor Paul Ryan will be attending the Texas events because they will be busy on the campaign trail.

"It's all surrogates raising last minute money right now," said the source, who requested anonymity to discuss private events.

Romneys campaign dosnt release the names of the people the bundlers get money from , because they deserve privacy and shouldnt have to face media attention and might be mean to them , rich babies . Obamas campign does give the names of the bundlers donors to the FEC.

This endorsement is all you need to know that Romney isn't part of the solution, he's a part of the problem.

This week alone we've seen the Moderate Mitt pander to moderates; the kinder, gentler Mitt pander to women; the severly consevative Mitt pander to conservatives; and next we are going to get the deficit hawk Mitt pander to Wall Street.

Surely all these Mitt Romney etch a sketch personalities each understand the garbled messaging he is sending out?

This is the "real Romney" right there! Forget flip-flopping, forget "jobs and economy", forget even the tax cuts for the rich.
Real deal here is Cheney, and another war.
And we will have to pay for it either with new taxes, or new debt, or huge inflation, as they print more money to pay for the war.
Colin Powell supporst Obama because "he did not start another war". He knows these necons really well.

"My vision of a 'new world order' foresees a United Nations with a revitalized peacekeeping function." - George H. W. Bush
Pretty much he's saying, never ending war until peace is obtained. Sounds similar to Willard's position prior to him Etch-A-Sketching on Monday night. Magog -aka- George H.W. Bush is a sign of the apocolypse. We are about to enter a NEW AGE.

Cheney should be hiding under a rock. History will eventually show the damage his self-dealing did to this country.

They are wheeling out Bush the Elder but where is DUBYA????!
Why won't they let DUBYA come out and pound the pavement, give speeches, and throw fundraisers for Robmey?
I think the fact that they have Dubya under a rock is the last vestige of decency and shame that these so-called Republicans have to left.

Meanwhile Cheney is looking healthy and all rosy-cheeks with the heart that he probably stole from the next RIGHTFUL person on the donor list. Two different sets of rules one for the have-nots and one for the take-everything, so save your "how can you say that?" fake outrage comments.
    Obama 2012. Seriously America.

I agree with Bill from GA. Sad to see GHW be within a country mile of Glen Beck. Just like Billy Graham, these
two have hit rock bottom. They have lost their status of "older and wiser" men. Too bad.

Romney's advisors = All part of Dubya's team.
Bush Sr. says Romney is like "another" son.
Romney is just Dubya Bush part III.
You've got to be really stupid America to not see what's going on here.
Shameful and embarrassing that the world commnunity is witnessing the incredibly transparent corruption and manipulation of our political system by the wealthy and their corporate interests.
To let Mitt the Twit buy his way into the Oval Office would be an abomination of global magnitude and only we the 99%ers will pay the price.
    God help us.

@ stranger in an increasingly strange land
Meanwhile, the cost of a ticket to attend President Obama's fund raising event in New York cost $40,000.

Yes, Romney's fund raising event is an extra $10,000 per ticket, but honestly; I can't stand it when both men say they are fighting for the middle class, but only those that have $40,000 to $50,000 to burn can attend such events. That's not helping the middle class, it's just helping their pockets.

What an ensemble cast of characters! All they need is Little George to make a darn gooder impression of the Four Horsemen introducing the antichrist.
