Politics can’t scare off Ryan from his appointed Halloween rounds

Janesville, Wisconsin (CNN) – Even in an election year, Republican vice presidential hopeful Paul Ryan stuck to a family trick-or-treat tradition.

On Wednesday, Mitt Romney's running mate held three rallies in his home state before he and wife, Janna, returned to Janesville to spend Halloween with their three children.

Election price tag could reach $6 billion

(CNN) - The conservative Susan B. Anthony List questions Democratic Sen. Bob Casey's abortion position in a new ad hitting Pennsylvania airwaves.

The spot, which SBA is spending $50,000 to run, says Casey's vote in favor of President Barack Obama's health care law contradicts his position on abortion.

Michigan poll: Obama 48% – Romney 42%

(CNN) - A new poll released Wednesday indicates President Barack Obama has a six-point advantage over Mitt Romney in Michigan.

Forty-eight percent of likely voters in the state back the incumbent president, while 42% support the GOP presidential nominee, according to a new EPIC-MRA poll commissioned by the Detroit Free Press and WXYZ, a CNN affiliate.
