(CNN) – President Barack Obama will resume campaigning on Thursday with stops in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Boulder, Colorado and Las Vegas, an Obama campaign aide told CNN.
The president cancelled campaign events for Wednesday to assess damage from Superstorm Sandy in New Jersey with Governor Chris Christie, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney announced Tuesday.

While Obama has been off the trail, Vice President Joe Biden campaigned in Ohio Monday. He will campaign in Florida Wednesday.
Former President Bill Clinton also campaigned for the president in Florida and Ohio on Monday and Minnesota Tuesday.
