New Romney ad highlights Iowa ink
(CNN) - In a new television ad released Thursday, Mitt Romney's campaign sought to remind Iowa voters of the state's newspaper endorsements for the GOP presidential nominee.
The 30-second spot, "Iowa Newspapers Agree," features the titles of four news outlets whose editorial boards recommended Romney as the best candidate to pick.

On Saturday, the most notable endorsement came from the Des Moines Register, the Hawkeye State's largest newspaper. It endorsed President Barack Obama last cycle, as well as Democratic nominees dating back for the last 40 years.
In the editorial, the board stated that the country needed a "renewed sense of confidence" in the economy. "That should come with Mitt Romney in the White House."
The Gazette of Cedar Rapids, the Quad-City Times of Davenport, and the Sioux City Journal also backed Romney in recent days.
"Mitt Romney's earned the support of every major newspaper in Iowa," the ad's narrator says, as footage of Romney on the campaign trail is displayed on the screen.
With six electoral votes, the swing state is highly contentious territory in the tight presidential race. Obama carried Iowa in 2008 by 10% and credits his surprise caucuses win in January of that year as the event that ultimately helped him capture the Democratic presidential nomination.
According to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Maris poll released Thursday, Obama had a six-point edge over Romney among likely Iowa voters, 50%-44%. The president will wrap up his re-election campaign in Iowa on Monday, the day before the election, his campaign confirmed Thursday.
While Romney was originally thought to be the winner of the Iowa caucuses this year, an official count later showed that former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania bested Romney by a few dozen votes. Romney conceded victory to Santorum.

Newspaper endorsements are worth about as much as the ink on which they are printed. They are supposed to provide impartial information on which to base a decision. Over the years they have evolved into recommendations for those uneducated sheeple who -like most red-state lemmings – need someone to tell them what to do, when and where to pray, whom to shoot and whom to vote for. Newspapers should ALL refrain from recommendations. It cheapens them.
Besides, If there's anyone in Iowa that is STILL undecided, they've got my vote for managing to avoid all the garbage, hate filled ads peppered at them, and for successfully living under a rock for the last six months!

We can only hope that all the other newspapers and media outlets in the country see the light of day and wake up to the disaster that has visited us the last four years and show Obama the door.

Most of my family are Pro-GOP. However, while we were out trick or treating, a family member told a family member told me
that they changed their mind, and that they were going to switch and vote for Obama. I voted for Obama also.
Is there possibly someone out there the reason, because I don't think the family member plans to come back to Romney?
Seems there is no limit to what money can buy. That rag will need Romney's money after it receives all the cancellation notices.

Has CNN or anyone else mentioned that the Salt Lake Tribune, the major newspaper from one of teh reddest or red states, and HQ to the LDS church has endorsed...Obama. Their reasons for their endorsement are outstanding, and very logical. I recommend it.

Someone forgot to mention to team Romney that newspaper ads, while nice to have, are not determinative of who wins an election. Should have saved their money or written a check to the Red Cross. Oh, I forgot. They collected can goods to distribute to people without gas or electricty, or in many case, no homes at all.

It was great to see our POTUS put his arm around Christie and offer all the help available to NJ. Last night I watched HANNITY out of curiosity to see if this visit would be mentioned. SURPRISE SURPRISE this visit was NEVER MENTIONED even once. All they talked about was Benghazi blah blah blah. Made me sick to my stomach watching these bigots. If Romney were President and wiped out FEMA like he said he would do, who would have helped these folks in the N.E. ?
