Obama, Romney paths to victory cross in Iowa

Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) - As the presidential race enters its final days, Iowa stands out as a question mark on the electoral map.

Strategists in both parties express confidence about winning the state and its six electoral votes, but few on either side are willing to guarantee a victory.

  2. My one vote.

I'm voting for President Obama, because he cares about 100% of the nation and provides steady leadership. Romney makes me nervous, because Romney lies about everything and only cares about half of the country.

Get out and vote conservatives and bring a friend with you. We must defeat this administration and put an end to its corrupt occupation of our nations capitol. Supposedly, dem early voting is up – likely because they are brainwashed students who dont work and the handout crowd who doesnt want to – we'll pull ahead soon enough. Have faith and stand together!!

    ROMNEY/RYAN 2012!

For many years, we the American people lamented that good business people, who knew how the real world worked, would not get into politics to fix the country. We were told they did not want to be dragged thru the mud, and make their family endure the lies and garbage that the slimy political class would heap upon them.
We ought to applaud Romney for getting into politics to apply real world principles to the government. He is squeaky clean and is the poster child for "the American Way". Hopefully his win will encourage more non-political real world business leaders to step up and fix this country before it is too late.

  8. Bill "the dem" Phillips

f the Romney ad accused President Obama of being somehow tied to all Jeep production being moved to China, that would be flat-out untrue.

However, this is what the ad states: “Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy, and sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China. Mitt Romney will fight for every American job.”

Technically, none of this is inaccurate. President Obama did take GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy, the U.S. Treasury Department did sell its stake in Chrysler to Fiat, and Fiat is considering adding production jobs in China.

George W. Bush was a very successful businessman (owned a few oil companies, made millions as part owner of the Texas Rangers). How did that turn out?

Obama – the anchor around the neck of our economy. If you don't want to drown in the next 4 years America, this is your last chance to save yourself and the country. Don't mess this up because your kids are counting on you. They are to young, naive and inexperienced to know how toxic Obama is to their future. It is up to YOU to protect them from themselves.
