Ante up: Placing big money bets on who will be president

(CNN) - In the winter of 2011, Chris, a 23-year old professional poker player, was confident that his candidate, President Barack Obama, would keep control of the White House in November of 2012.

But instead of ordering a few lawn signs or volunteering to go door-to-door for the campaign, he put his money where is mouth was.

Another looney tune leftist Democrat mismanaging his money and losing it. Of course he'll expect the rest of us to support him when he's broke.

How about bets on whether Republican voter suppression and intimidation put this election before the GOP's Supreme Court?

They already ruled that IDs can be required before voting. You've already lost that argument. As for intimidation, it looks like the Obama Goon Squad is already spreading out all over the country to intimidate people.

There will be another run on razor blades to scrape off all those romney bumperstickers. Eastwood and Nugent can console and comfort each other after the election.

@truth hurts: I think we are supporting you. Stay off the blogs full-time and get a job. If I was a betting person I would bet you are a misfit living in your parents basement, no friends, no dates and you only bathe once a week. The internet is your one and only life and you are a coward. I bet you were bullied and the hate you spew everyday all day is your way of feeling courage. You do on the internet what you know you can not do in person. Have A Blessed Night.

@Truthhurts – It was Mitt Romney that wanted to place a $10,000 bet with Rick Perry during the Republican primaries, so know your facts, all that name calling ain't necessary. You Lose !

truth hurts , with your superior intellect and knowledge , could you in a few words tell us non intellectuals why GW Bush isn't out on the campaign trail with Mitt Romney for his final push ?

Romney hasn't taken questions from the press or us little people for the last two weeks .

I'm starting to feel rejected .

Hey Clem...remember in 2007 when Obama was running for president? There were bumper stickers all over the place. What happened to them this time? I have seen about 3 cars total in the past few weeks with Obama stickers and I live in Minnesota, a state leaning towards Obama. Of course that might be because we have one of the highest welfare rates and immigration rates. Go figure.

Ben Goodman. Have you heard about all the electronic poling machines choosing Obama even though the voter chose Romney? 4 states now have had complaints about this and not one state having the issue of voters voting for Obama and the vote going to Romney. Voter suppression and intimidation....who needs it when the election officials are rigging the machines. I can't wait for the whining and crying to begin when Obama loses.

Truth hurts says "they already ruled that IDs can be required before voting"
Way to keep up: IDs have always been "required before voting". What they ruled on was some States can require
PHOTO IDs and some cannot until next year.
Texas lost their PHOTO requirement fight, and we now vote with the same ID we have always used.
But why let a few facts stand in the way of name calling. I'm sure faux news is proud of you/

Just because Lyin Mutt has more ads, and more money, and tells bigger and stranger lies, doesn't mean he gonna change any minds. But I guess it will help keep people stay employed (which ticks mutt off).

obama/biden 2012 -- I voted early and now help elderly and semi-invalid get to the polls to vote. I take my cell phone and take pics if anyone gives them any harrassment or intimidation. I have evidence. ha ha ha ha h haha ha ha

So far they have just been "True the Vote" bullies, so no one was prevented from voting, but it may have been because of the pics. Who knows?

Amazing that you people refuse to see the facts and results of Obamas record. Deception, divisiveness and debt are his only accomplishments. An embarrassmnent to the office and our country.

I will be so glad when this is all over. The hatred, judgmental, crap slinging needs to stop. Both of the candidates have told tall tells, Both are Rich, both are God fearing. I was born into a Democratic home and as a wee lass feel in love with JFK. As I got older politics was not my cup of tea. I have watches through the years our United States become so hated by countries that our government gives millions if not billions of dollars to, as our own people still struggle to live, The senior citizens are the back bone of our nation and we allow the government to let then struggle. Not even thinking that we too will be seniors one day. Why can't we find a president that will say enough is enough. NO MORE FREE MONEY to other countries. Why can't we start concentrating on our own people? I have no idea if either of these men can accomplish anything in the next four years but, Obama has not fulfilled ANY of his promises. In fact we are more in debt, jobless and homeless. It may have happened with McCain in office who knows. But, don't insult others intelligence by telling them they are stupid for wanting something better for their makes you look unintelligent.
