Obama now a job creator

New York (CNNMoney) - The U.S. economy now has more jobs than it did when the president took office in January of 2009.

With the addition of Friday's fairly strong jobs report, plus upward revisions over the last couple of months, there are now 194,000 more jobs than there were in January of 2009, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Actually Obama is the one lying. The Romney ad says that Chrysler is opeing up a plant in China to make Jeeps. This is true, go look it up. The Romney add does not say Chrysler is moving current jobs to China. Go look up the add and watch it. The ad is true. Obama is lying, any American workers who are afraid of losing their job must be listening to the Obama lie, and not the Romney ad. On the other hand one has to ask why not create the new jobs in the US? But again the ad does not say there is any threat to existing US jobs making Jeeps. CNN should provide a link to the ad so readers can see for themselves who is lying.

"194,000 more jobs than it did in January 2009, making President Obama a job creator".....This would be laughable if the situation wasn't so sad. This guy has destroyed twice as many jobs as he's created. And I wouldn't be bragging if only 194,000 jobs were created under my administration.

God Bless the POTUS! He is The Job Creator! Can't spin those numbers!

According the the BLS. Just take out the L and you get what we all get and that is BS. WE have over 14% real unemployment and they count temporary jobs like one hour of my son mowing my lawn as a job so no we do not have more jobs. Not only that they count temporary work as retailers and others like Amazon ramping up for Christmas. Real income has fallen over $4K per family and net worth has dropped to pitiful levels for lower to middle class families. I know CNN wants to double down on another four years of Obama's inept and failed policies but this is ridiculous.

Proof positive that President Obama's policies are on the right track. If you are one of the newly reemployed, you need to send him a Thank You Vote on Nov 6th. OBAMA/BIDEN 2012

We cannot afford to reverse the productive course charted by Obama to build a future where ALL Americans have access to health care, retirement, homes, environmentally sound energy, education, modern infrastructure and equal job opportunities on a level playing field.

We cannot afford to return to the corrupt Republican/"Rob-me" policies that brought our country to the brink of bankruptcy in order to curry favor to those stealing American jobs, homes and retirement funds in order to line their own pockets!

We the people will elect a government for the people, of the people and by the people to serve ALL Americans – not just the 1%-ers!!!

For you misinformed right wing loonies, that's net job growth. So not only has the President pulled this economy out of the ditch Bush drove it in, he's now adding jobs on top of the ones that were lost and recovered. We're not turning back now.

There are about 5 million more in population since January, 2009. Assume 40% of those are of working age (probably more, but we'll go with low numbers), that's 2 million more people needing jobs. 200,000 jobs "created" during the Obama administration covers 10% of those... so what we're seeing is that 90% of the increase in population since Obama took office is jobless.

Yup... heckuva job, Barry. One heckuva job.

Bush was a job creator too. But the media and Democrats and Obama said the Bush job creation which was in the millions was too weak. 194,000 over 4 years with a cost of nealy a trillion dollars in a stimulus that Obama said would actually create millions of jobs is not something anyone, except Obama and his loving mainstream media, would want to campaign on. Only Democrats and the media will pretend to be impressed.

After all I hear from romney hes still wishy/washy always changing his mind and avoiding ?? , we don't need that kind of a man in the white house. Obama is still way behind on his promises but like Clinton says were moving forward in the right direction, I feel romney will make things better for the rich and not the middle class.

  18. 5 MORE days until Obama is RE-ELECTED !!

AWESOME !! It's taken almost FOUR years and the Stimulus to recover from the RECESSION the POTUS inherited.
In Jan 2009, the POTUS was handed 700,000+ jobs dissappearing, an $850 BILLION TARP bailout, a $1.47 TRILLION deficit, TWO UNFUNDED illegal wars ($3+ TRILLION), NEGATIVE 6% GDP, $6.4 TRILLION added to the National Debt, OBL and an economy in dissaray.

Now we truly see the success of his policies – in spite of eveything the Grand Obstructionist Party has done to prevent it from happening – stemming the tide and now positive job growth. We also have POSITIVE 2% GDP, OBL DEAD, troops out of Iraq, out of Afghanistan in 2014 and recovering economy.

The choice is VERY, VERY clear.
    GO OBAMA/BIDEN 2012.

"The Obama administration predicted the unemployment rate would be below six percent by now."
What Speaker Bonehead, Willard and the media fail to mention is that prediction was made prior to the President being inaugarated. They didn't expect the economy to be losing 800,000 jobs a month when he stepped into office. I find it baffling how the MSM fails to leave that FACT out of an article such as this.

Who said that it cannot be done, NOW if hte GOP had gotten out of the way there would have been alot more jobs. I am sorry but we have come a long ways over the pass four years. Yes we still have a long way to go but if you look at were we started you can not sit there unless you money to burn and not say that this county is moving forward.

This President has done a fantastic job steadily cleaning up the mess created by the Republicans. I am from Canada and we need a strong US economy. The last thing we need is another out of touch gold foot in mouth President.Obama will win in a Landslide in the electoral college. Obama all the way.

How many jobs were lost the first few months Obama was in office? America was losing 750k jobs a month when he took office. The job losses didnt stop the same day Obama took office, It took time to get the market to stop from the free fall it was in. So many Repukes that cant understand this is just plain stupid, period!

He was a "job creator" as soon as the first job was created, morons. It wasn't his fault that the 4.3M jobs lost at the beginning of his term were lost in the first place. That was the result of the recession the GOP birthed.
