Romney: Vote for country, not revenge

West Chester, Ohio (CNN) - White House hopeful Mitt Romney vowed to deliver real change at a blockbuster rally he headlined with running mate Paul Ryan in battleground Ohio.

The Republican presidential nominee criticized President Barack Obama, who during his own visit to the Buckeye State said voting was the “best revenge.” The Democratic incumbent altered a traditional refrain from his stump speech when he received boos from the audience.

"No, no, no – don't boo, vote," Obama said Friday in Springfield, Ohio. "Vote. Voting is the best revenge."

That evening, in West Chester, Romney responded, "Our big dreams will not be satisfied by his small agenda that already failed us. Today, did you see what President Obama said today? He asked his supporters to vote for revenge – for revenge. Instead I ask the American people to vote for love of country."

With Election Day four days away, the GOP running mates kicked off what the campaign dubbed a "Real Recovery Road Rally" tour that will include events with the candidates, their wives and 100 surrogates in the final days of the presidential race.

At least 40 of those surrogates appeared at the chilly outdoor rally with Romney and Ryan that drew a massive audience in the Cincinnati suburb– crowd estimates ranged from 18,000 to 30,000 – and included a performance by Kid Rock, who belted out "Born Free" from on top of a piano.

Guests included 2008 GOP presidential nominee Arizona Sen. John McCain; Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida; House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio; and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani who delivered a series of blistering zingers against the president who rallied the crowd with line after line of reasons why Obama should "resign" and faulting him for "incompetence" over the Libya consulate attacks.

The surrogates will fan out across eleven battleground states: Colorado, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Of the GOP powerhouse Romney said, "They are about to Fan out across the entire nation to make sure we have victory on November 6, and some comic on the team has named us the Romney-Ryan Real Recovery Road Rally – I got it out – that's R6 for short. They're going to make sure we win. Ohio is the center place. We're going to make sure this is the place we take. And we're going to take back the White House."

Jokes aside, a new poll indicates the race for arguably the most important battleground state remains very close. According to a CNN/ORC International survey released Friday, Obama holds a three point advantage over Romney in the contest for Ohio's much fought over 18 electoral votes.

That did not appear to be lost on Romney.

He said, "Your state is the one I'm counting on by the way. This is the one we have to win."

- CNN's Rachel Streitfeld, Ashley Killough, and Paul Steinhauser contributed to this report.

Its Romney's 'small' agenda at question here if the only response he has it so nitpick 1 word from a single speech Obama made. This guy is unbelievable. Ask Mitt what is bipartisan about vetoing 884 bills passed by the representatives of the people of his state.

And let me ask Romney supporters of America one pertinent question,if Romney loves this country so much why did his forefathers run to Mexico. Why they came back here years later after not wanting to fight for their new adopted homeland in Mexico and why not one Romney member has ever served in any branch of military including Mitt who as you know ran off on a missionary deferrment to France to avoid being drafted but protested in France advocating for the war being prowar!!Please chime in with your rebuttal because its hard to believe anyone being patriotic as Romney says running from fighting for this country, none of his five sons have either and don't bring in Pres.Obama because there were no wars and no draft to relate too!!Your republicans in both houses are quilty as well being prowar advocating it but only 30% have ever served in any branch of military service while over 75% in democrates have served, just some facts I'd throw out for you all before your rebuttals if there are any!!

The Republicans attack Chris Christy because he worked with the President. Never mind that a disaster was happening. Then they turn around and say that this President doesn't know how to work across the isle. Putting party before Country has made the Republicans look very weak.

Romney has used too many words and has said nothing at all. Playground antics this entire election cycle. It started off with a group of clowns in the republican primaries, which at times was comical. Now It's just so damn sad. Please lose Mitt, for if you were to win using this garbage of misinformation and outright falsehoods....shame will have won! And our country with all its people will suffer. Not you Mitt you have your millions and are blind to the everyday struggles the common workers have.

Voting IS the best revenge since the GOP tried so hard to suppress the vote. When someone tries to take away your rights, you don't walk away – you walk in. Voting IS all about country.
Of course, Rommey wouldn't understand that because he's not invested in this country and he's never had his rights threatened. I'll be so happy when he goes away and he can never buy his way onto a ballot ever again.

Oh now the republican leadership is for country, before their mantra was get president Obama at any and all cost. The american middle glass was just thought of as collateral damage. I, no, we, remember and will be casting our vote to re-elect President Barack Obama . . . the, all so sweet, smell of poetic justice when the ballot of revenge is casted.

If one votes for revenge, as Obama stated, then one would not vote for him. Most Americans have good reason not to vote for Obama, espically African-American for their unemployment rate is closer to 14% then the 7.9%. Obama = a lack in governing, leadership, accountability ,credability, and transparency. A new new person in the oval office is needed and when that happens ALL American will have new Hope.

The next President will most likely not have complete control of congress and will therefor have to work with the other side in order to get anything done. I think Mit and his experience prove that he will be better able to do this than Pres Obama. President Obama never had to build and run a team to a success. As a comunity activest and attorney, the paths he learned to success involved strong arming and intimidation. I think having the super majority in the start of his presidency really hurt him for it reinforced the my way or the high way mentality which sabatoged his effort after losing the house in 2010

Here is the source for Mitt secret presidential agenda it must be rooted in his religion to hide information from the public. We might think Mitt behavior is not normal, but if we understand Mitt religion it is perfectly ok to hide things from ordinary people. According to Mormon religion “Temples are reserved for the most sacred rituals – the details of which are not to be discussed outside temple walls. The temples are so sacred that the doors are not even open for all Mormons; only those deemed sufficiently worthy by local church leadership are granted a “temple recommend” or an entry card”.

Romney said , did you see what President Obama said today? He asked his supporters to vote for revenge – for revenge. Instead I ask the American people to vote for love of country."
Then former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani who delivered a series of blistering zingers against the president who rallied the crowd with line after line of reasons why Obama should "resign" and faulting him for "incompetence" over the Libya consulate attacks. Saying it wouldn't have happened if John McCain had been elected .

First of all , The President said nothing about revenge ! Once again the misleading lies coming from a desperate Romney campaign show he's a man of division and not of truth. After listening to he surrogates such as Rudy Giuliani and others deliver such contempt and non factual bias . It's clear that the republican part can no longer walk there talk .

Mitt Romney say's it's not about Revenge , however those speaking for him such as John Sununu , John McCain and Rudy Giulliani sound extremely vengeful !
