(CNN) - Voters in some New York counties may get an extra day to cast ballots if disruptions caused Superstorm Sandy prevent enough citizens from showing up at the polls, a state official said Sunday.
County election officials could ask New York state Board of Elections to allow polls to re-open for another day if Tuesday's turnout is less than 25%, according to state board spokesman Thomas Connolly said.

Is that even true? For a federal election? Repugs will fight it up to the supreme court.
Election day can only be changed by congress and they have to vote on it. If it is changed then it applies to EVERY state not just NY. In the history of our voting country this has never happened.
If they do not show up on Tuesday why should they show up on Wednesday. Just another way to enable voter fraud.
