Morrisville, Pennsylvania (CNN) - If Mitt Romney is upset with Gov. Chris Christie for praising President Obama, he didn't show it Sunday night.
In fact, the GOP presidential candidate singled out the fiery New Jersey governor in a speech to 25,000 outside Philadelphia, lauding Christie's response to Superstorm Sandy.

"He’s giving it all of his heart and his passion to help the people of his state," Romney said. "They’re in a hard way, and we appreciate his hard work. Thank you, governor."
Christie made waves among the political class with his effusive praise of the president's handling of disaster relief.
Earlier Sunday, a senior Romney adviser brushed off questions about whether the storm - which prompted both candidates to cancel events with only a week left in the race - had stalled the campaign's momentum.
"I don't look at what happened with the storm and how it affected so many people through a political lens," said adviser Kevin Madden. "Instead, we are focused on what we can do to make sure that the enthusiasm that we have seen in states, that it's part of helping our get out the vote efforts in all these key battlegrounds and then just focusing on the message."
Romney's Pennsylvania rally - one of his largest events of the campaign - was the third of three stops the Republican candidate made Sunday.
He planned a four-state blitz Monday, with stops in Florida, Virginia, Ohio and New Hampshire.
I respect Gov. Christie's willingness to work together and praise Pres. Obama's federal emergency management response to Hurricane Sandy.
Romney irresponsibly said he would get rid of FEMA.
Yes he praised Christy for his efforts, but did he say one word of praise for the President for his fast response and working across the aisle with Christy.....no a word and thaat is exactly how he will work as President......he says he will work with the Democrats but he is lying through his teeth......Christy didn't even ask him to come to New Jersey to see
the damage of the storm....Romney hasn't even went to any of the states to access the damage.....whats that tell you? That he doesn't care about the 47% that was effected by this storm, and he will leave the rebuildiing and clean up to the states instead of giving these people the help they need from the government......most states couldn't even come up with the money to repair this kind of damage.......
Of course he praises Christie!! He just lets his surrogates express his true feelings – as he has let Sunnunu do all through out the campaign
.... all the while he still wants to do away with FEMA, the Depts. of Commerce, Labor and the Environmental Protection Agency.
Where is his praise for FEMA? his praise is weak... pandering almost. Like he thinks if he says that, Jersey voters will forget that if he is elected, they will be left on their own.
Romney is a class act all the way!
Of course behind closed doors the putz is saying something else. See 47% comments!!
As he proclaimed in his 47% speech, Romney’s full intention to politicize Hurricane Sandy was ruined when Governor Christie and President Obama came together to help people.
Romney does not believe in coming together and helping people. Romney cares about banking on tragedy for political gains and lining his pockets with the livelihoods of working people.
How come he still hasn't spend even 4 hours touring Nj and NY? He has private planes.
