Obama wins re-election, CNN projects

Washington (CNN) - Barack Obama will be re-elected as president of the United States, CNN projects. He will win the critical swing state of Ohio, putting him over the 270 electoral votes needed to secure the White House, CNN projects

Mitt Romney took an early lead over Obama with more than half the races decided Tuesday, but the Republican challenger lost both his home and birth states and was trailing in key battleground states, according to unofficial returns and CNN projections.

Now that Obama is here to stay for another four years, can we PLEASE come together and get something done for the country? Democrats should not gloat, Republicans should not pout - there's no time. Get to work come Tuesday and let's get on with the business of the country.

  9. GOP = Greed Over People!

And so far the electoral map looks vaguely familiar, where have I seen it before?

Oh yeah, that one term celebrity, Nate Silver!

By all means, keep using those GOP forecasters within the Fox echo chamber, that use old goat bones and chicken legs to forecast election results.

Continue to ignore science and mathematics.

Why is Ron Paul at the top of the Ticker when President Obama JUST WON REELECTION?
Please remove his comments as they are not relevant. Period.

Also, thank you to Colin Powell, M. Bloomberg and yes, Governor Christie. I think it was the turning point in the election and changed quite a few minds.

So glad so many republicans like me voted for Obama! My family and I just could not vote for Romney since he lied so much. The republican party has lost a lot of people's respect. Let's see if they will win it back on how well they work with President Obama over the next four years!

I think Mitt Romney and the Republican party owe it to Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh for their help and the celebrations for success.

If the problems we have today don't change for the better within the next 4 years then Romney should have won.
Obama didn't help us in the last 4 years why do u think hes going to do it now?
