FIRST ON CNN: Obama to make statement on economy Friday
(CNN) - Three days after being re-elected, President Barack Obama will deliver a statement on the economy Friday, two administration officials said Thursday.
The 1:05 p.m. ET statement in the East Room will serve as an opportunity to address some of the big issues that Washington will tackle in the next few months - including staving off the so-called fiscal cliff - and to outline his priorities moving forward.
An official schedule released by the White House Thursday said the statement would address "the action we need to take to keep our economy growing and reduce our deficit."

The huge issue that my friends who voted for Obama have failed on is reading/ understanding ObamaCare, It is horrible socialistic legislation. I do not make that statement lightly. For those that voted for Obama you have NOT read it. The fallout is already being felt 30% less applicates for Med school and 30% increase for physiican assistants why? doctors cannot invest $300,000 in med school only to be paid under ObamaCare the same as a phy assistant. Plus we will not get the care we get today, we will be part of a huge govt run HMO. America you made a huge mistake.
Hang on to your wallet, the liar is going to speak about taking it.
Keep in mind one very important thing, President Obama will probable appoint another Supreme Court Justice.

I bet he will say nothing about 4 dead Americans in Libya he refused to rescue. He sat in the situation room and watched them die while watching the live feed. Word is also, just before the last two Americans deaths he turned in early for bed.
Obama is gonna talk about the economy! See we might get some work outta the bum yet! But talk is cheap action would be far better. I still don't believe he has any idea what to do with the economy! This poorly done recovery he brags about doesn't even create enough jobs to cover the kids gettin outta school! Besides it has taken him 4 years of liein and cheatin to get back to where he started!
He should be askin our priorities not telling us his we employ him not the other way around! He is no different than a garbageman or a janitor. Just more conceited and arrogant!

time for both sides to compromise
I would advise the Republicans to truly work with President Obama. Everyone but them knows that they are the party of NO. The more they keep playing games, the more they will distance themselves from the American people.
Lies and more lies. The economy is everything from the pregnant woman not wanting that child and needing an abortion, to the single dad raising kids and his job anytime to go to China, and half of Americans who think its unfair 47% doesn't pay taxes. Ok Ohbummmer tell us what's your plan?
