Obama plans to visit Myanmar during upcoming Asia trip, White House says
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama will travel to Myanmar, where he will meet with President Thein Sein and activist Aung San Suu Kyi, on a trip to Asia later this month, the White House said Thursday.
Obama will stop in Myanmar, also known as Burma, during a November 17-20 trip to "speak to civil society to encourage Burma's ongoing democratic transition," according to a news release.

Yes, Myanmar, that burning hot spot of international crisis. They must have a new resort that needs somebody to cut the ribbon. Oh well, I guess it has been a few months since Obama's last vacation. Wouldnt want to strain a muscle trying to fix that fiscal cliff stuff.
The purse strings belong to congress, it is in all honesty THEIR JOB to figure that out.

so working from home a few hours away and away from the dc quagmire is the same as photo op vacation jaunts halfway across the planet? nice try.
come on admit it. obama has no real interest in actually working at solving the problems the country faces. he just likes to talk about them in between vacations.

He is probably going over there to apologize and to relinquish the Nobel Peace Prize, he was fraudulently given in 2009, to its rightful owner. If Obama had an ounce of integrity, he would do that.

Obama has been working the problems of this country since day 1. Problem is the Grand Obstructionist People did everything in their power to block it. His re-election indicates that the American people say thro all the bluster and blander from the right during the election, up to and including the ridiculous amount of money spent trying to oust him.
