(CNN) - Critics are already gushing over Steven Spielberg's new "Lincoln" as a potential Oscar contender. Much of the praise centers on how the film makes the larger-than-life president at once heroic and human.
By all accounts, it deftly explores both his personal and political wisdom through scenes like the one in which Daniel Day Lewis, who plays Honest Abe, cites ancient mathematical theory in an assessment of humanity: "It's a self-evident truth that things that are equal to the same thing are equal to each other."

One lesson that could be learned by Obama don't compare yourself to somebody that you are not even close to being.
The only history I am concerned about is the last 4 years
The lessons I hope the President has learned in the last 4 years is
-The Republican party is willing to sacrifice everything in order to defeat their political opponents
-They are willing to destroy the nation to regain power
-If you want to get things done. Don't work with the GOP. work around them. Work over them. They are not just the loyal opposition, they are the enemy and should be treated as such
Ok, there are those who think ole "honest abe" actually walked on water, much like the Russains think Lenin did. Let's look at ole honest abe's membership in the American Colonization Society, or his suspension of the habeas corpus law where thousands upon thousands of northern citizens were arrested and dragged off to northenrn POW camps, where many of them perished, for simply exercising their 1st Amendment rights and speaking out against Lincoln and his policies. There are a lot more of his crimes against humanity out there – you just have to dig for them.
OBAMA is not even close to Lincoln. OBAMA admits in his own book Democrats use blacks as plantation Politics in his book Dreams from my father

Neither is your party as Lincoln would want nothing to do with Boehner or his TP racists.
As for the movie what more can be said about this man? He died a horrible death and trying to lay his body to rest was even worse. Perhaps, if the film makers are really looking for new Lincoln material, they might try comparing his policies and life with that of the TP controlled republican party of now. What a disgrace the republican party has become.
president Obama won because Americans were fired up and ready to go! FORWARD!
There no valid comparison to be made between Obama and Lincoln...forget that!
The voters who voted for Obma are living in the great new America, and thats why America will always be an example for the rest of the world.
and we are his witnesses to these things, and so also is the holy spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
