What is the future of the Obama-Netanyahu relationship?
(CNN) - Amid the flurry of diplomatic congratulations over the maneuvering that led to a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas this week, the dual readouts of the roles played by President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu contained some interesting language.
A written statement detailing the telephone conversation between the two after an agreement was reached included the usual language of maintaining the U.S. commitment to Israeli security. But the White House also said that Obama "commended the prime minister for agreeing to the Egyptian cease-fire proposal – which the president recommended the prime minister to do."

America doesn't take orders from Israel nor does Israel take orders from America, recommendations and diplomacy is the only answer.
Israel,need not take orders from the usa. it makes them look stronger. like wise i love how the usa stood back just a little and let Israel handle its business. let us hope this is a trend.
I still push for a 'New Israel' that would be in the usa but ruled by Israel.they could have a state of their own. because if im sure of anything this whole peace with hamas will not last long.
Take the Netanyahue's of the Israeli's and put them on the frontline and make the pay their own way[vice US MONEY] and it might be a different situation . As long s they can sit on their fat A–s and bleed this USA bankrupt they will never attempt to get along with the rest of the world.We once saw the type of loyalty for helping them,that is if you remember the USS LIBERTY.
Netanyahu better realize who's protecting who here..American Jews crying there's not enough American involvement better shut their mouths or go over there and help out your brethren yourselves.Romneys buddy Adelson could build a decent military himself with all that dirty money coming in from Macao,China and he knows it that's why he sunk as much money as he did in Romney his partner in crime .If he was elected but that didn't happen and Adelson walked away from the craps table broke didn't he!!Remember we don't need another Vietnam people with us losing all our men and women while France watched on the sidelines,this would be much of the same..No thanks Netanyahu,this is your deal handle it big mouth,maybe Romney can be your surrogate military wise.O I forgot he runs from war doesn't he as his boys ,real patriots aren't they!!
The USA is cannot dictate Israel. Obama can use his talent of diplomacy to bring
Israel and the Palestines together and finaly bring peace in the region. I know he can and
he will make history with it.
