Man arrested after charging at Romney's SUV
(CNN) - The Secret Service said an unidentified man was arrested Thursday at the White House after running at the vehicle carrying former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to a lunch there.
The man reached into Romney's open vehicle window as the SUV stopped at a White House gate. He was yelling the candidate's name when he was hauled away, apparently by a security officer.

"This afternoon an individual interfered with a motorcade," the Secret Service said in a statement. "He became combative with uniformed Secret Service agents, and was arrested for assault of a police officer and unlawful entrance."
The individual did not appear to physically contact Romney.
Romney was visiting the White House for a lunch with President Barack Obama. The White House said in a statement the "focus of their discussion was on America's leadership in the world and the importance of maintaining that leadership position in the future."

Remember, we are all watching and protecting our President Obama, make no mistake about it. Never should anyone ever get this dangerously close to him, dry run or not.

But seriously, leave the man alone, I'm sure he was already feeling bad. He did tell the POTUS to start packing. I'm sure Missy Anne(Roots reference) had curtains and china all picked out and ready. Too bad Willard and Queenie.
I hope Willard doesn't whine about this, because the president has to deal with this type of behavior and much more on a daily basis. It's part of being in the national spotlight. I'm also glad the secret service was there to keep this situation from going out of control. Obviously, a very distrubed man.

Not sure what you mean by reached in an open window seeing as how the passenger side window where Romney sat was closed. The driver side window was in fact cracked but the mans arms weren't long enough to reach that side.
