Man arrested after charging at Romney's SUV
(CNN) - The Secret Service said an unidentified man was arrested Thursday at the White House after running at the vehicle carrying former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to a lunch there.
The man reached into Romney's open vehicle window as the SUV stopped at a White House gate. He was yelling the candidate's name when he was hauled away, apparently by a security officer.

"This afternoon an individual interfered with a motorcade," the Secret Service said in a statement. "He became combative with uniformed Secret Service agents, and was arrested for assault of a police officer and unlawful entrance."
The individual did not appear to physically contact Romney.
Romney was visiting the White House for a lunch with President Barack Obama. The White House said in a statement the "focus of their discussion was on America's leadership in the world and the importance of maintaining that leadership position in the future."

LOL. How naive. The GOP/Teatrolls have no leverage and are not bargaining from a position of strength here. If the Buch tax cuts auto-expire on 12.31.12, then the Dems will just put atx cuts for the middle-class ONLY on the table and the GOP/Teatrolls will hang themselves tryingt o come up with procedural and political machinations to hold them hostage. The GOP/Teatrolls' only remaining tactic is to DELAY...delay delay delay in order to make EVERYONE involved look unserious, incompetent, unwilling to compromise, cmopletely out of touch with what the people are demanding, etc. It's your basic "if we're going down, we're taknig you ALL with us" tactic. They'd rather drag Obama and the Dems down into the muck with themselves by making the American public angry with all of Congress, than just admit they can't win this one, get it done and thereby hand Obama and the Dems an ostensible victory. What do we have the Fiscal Cliff? The answer is the "Bush Tax Cuts". My question is: Why didn't Bush and the Republican Controlled Senate and Controlled did not make these Bush Tax Cuts permanent back in 2001 and 2003 if this is such a good idea back then? The answer is: It wasn't a good idea and they knew then that it will result to Deficits and add significantly to the Debt. Four years after he left office, his policies are still the major contributors to the Deficits and Debt.
