White House to royal couple: Congrats!
(CNN) - It didn't take long for the White House to weigh in on the latest news from London–that Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, are having a baby.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney opened his daily briefing with reporters Monday by sending good wishes across the pond.
"On behalf of everyone here in the White House, beginning with the president and the first lady, we extend our congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the welcome news this morning out of London that they are expecting their first child," Carney said.
The Obamas met Prince William and Catherine shortly after the couple's high-profile wedding last year. President Obama and first lady Michelle visited the United Kingdom in May 2011 and stayed at Buckingham Palace.

William is nothing like his mother in his actions. I find him to be self-centered and sometimes dismissive (at least in public) of his mother and all that she gave him. It's too bad he's more like his father, (severe lack of understanding in humanity and personality). Overall, non-story as far as I am concerned.

This is so nice. His mother would be overjoyed. She was a wonderful mother and Princess. Congratulations Will and Kate!!
It makes me scratch my head that the media refers to Kate as a commoner but fails to mention that her and William are 14th cousins, once removed and is 15th cousins to the Queen, once removed. Why do they keep this fact from the public? Don't be deceived people.
The media fails to report that "The Beast" was wounded to his head when he attended prep school and miraculously healed. Sounds familiar to a scripture in Revalations. As far as Princess Diana goes, ever research the tunnel that she died in and what it was used for in pagan times? She was sacrificed. Open your eyes and don't be deceived people!!!
I don't know Wake up People! I really don't know about all that good mother stuff and good princess.... you know what I mean?

My sentiments exactly. I miss her and her wardrobe. She worked very hard for PEOPLE (when she didn't have to, often risking her life) and I loved that about her.
