These republican governors and legislatures just don't get it. We are not going down the path of austerity. This is nothing but a measure to undermine union workers from standing up for equality and fairness. They're hell bent on turning us into the United Fascist Plantations of America.
You mean the UNIONS protested heavily.........because right to work, means they cannot FORCE people to be union members, to get a JOB!
Just more anti-American worker legislative activity on the part of the GOP. Why anyone blue collar votes for these clowns amazes me!
it is YOU that doesn't "get it" The unions are wy the auto industry went belly up or do you like paying union "dues" to mob bosses? pathetic sheep
Having a choice really seems to bother liberals. Detroit has not fared well with all their unions. We all saw that coming.
I worked for years for a very successful money manager and companies reliant on unions were an automatic disqualifier for investment. There are some outliers in Autos and Airlines (Southwest) but you can count them on one hand.

Is it you that doesn't get it? The greed of executives seeking profits and salaries thousands of times greater than their lowest employees is why corporations have gone belly-up in America, i.e. GREED.
The last election was not subtle enough for these bums. Next step? Throw every one of these bums out of a job. For the GOTP, American Spring started in November.
Pretty smart trying to force a right to work law in a state that is heavy blue collar and unionized to the hilt. I mean it's not like down here in Texas where the jobs may be plenty but the wages are low.
Right to work mean you can work on a job four years and three hundred six four days then told your negitive have surpass your positive we cannot use you any more...to keep from paying retirement .
The Unions ARE NOT the reason the auto industry went under. Yes hourly workers make a decent living, but the EXECUTIVES make a killing. Have you seen their BONUSES??? The execs receive 6 figure bonuses, sometimes 7. The bottom line is people deserve to make a decent wage. The executives are not the ones out there doing the hard work. Before it's over, wages will be so low, it's going to feel like slavery.
Long live unions! Remember: 40 hours/week, weekends off, benefits, etc! Otherwise, slave labor for the "Good of corporation"!
Right to work means that you can be terminated with or without cause. employee doesnt have any rights.
The right to work states are doing well in comparison and companies are moving from closed shop states to friendlier states. Unions, the highest corporate tax rate in the world and EPA, and OSHA are responsible for jobs going overseas.
